Does anyone know what happened in the accident on 44 across from the Del Webb and Reynolds entrance? It was last Monday Morning. I went out early to get my tires changed and a customer told me there was a horrible accident. I was hoping someone would know more information on what happened. ☹️

If you are thinking of purchasing a home warranty through Choice Home Warranty, DON’T! They do not deliver what they promise. You will just end up paying for your own repair and or replacement. We went through all the proper procedures to get our dryer fixed first, per policy. We found out dryer cannot be repaired and they will send us a check for $335 period. First they did not even cover our cost to try to repair. Second $335 does not even cover the cost to replace! The money we paid to extend our warrenty would have covered a new dryer and washer! VERY DISAPPOINTED! What a SCAM!!

GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

SCAM ALERT: We were just notified of a Phone Scam where the scammers represented Georgia Power stating that they were going to cut the power off unless the victim went to a local store in the area utilizing Cash Pay Today and presented a bar code sent to them by the scammer to transfer money to the barcode account. We contacted some local stores to deter the scam. If you have been called notify us and do not send the money via this system warn your friends and neighbors.

"School resource officer fired from Lake Oconee Academy, GBI investigating GREENE COUNTY, Ga. - The school resource officer at Lake Oconee Academy in Greene County has been fired, according to the school. The situation leading to the officer's termination by the Green County Sheriff's Office is currently under investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Lake Oconee Academy says it is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all of its students, but did not provide any other information. Lake Oconee Academy is a K-12 charter school in Greensboro. This story is developing. Check back for details. PJ's Coffee Lake Oconee

PJ’s is my favorite coffee place. I visit the drive through at least three times a week. The service is wonderful and the coffee is awesome!

Café 44, Coffee, and Happy Guests When somebody says “Let’s go to Café 44,” I say “yes“ so fast that when the dust clears I am on my second cup of coffee. Excellent, excellent coffee. The food at Café 44 is outstanding in every respect. The menu is broad enough to satisfy everyone. The Café offers daily specials, which are also terrific. I particularly recommend the soups. And sandwiches. And desserts. The service is excellent. All the employees are efficient, helpful, and fun. I will give a special “thumbs-up“ to the owner, Bob. Bob seems to be everywhere in the Café. In particular, he circulates among the tables, interacting with the guests. He genuinely wants every guest to have a great experience. To be “happy” with a café is a very good thing. We are never merely “happy“ with Café 44: “happy” is an understatement. We are “thrilled.” I recommend Café 44 very highly. A BIG thumbs-up. 👍🏼🇺🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
