Someone's lost doggy was on our porch about 9:35 tonight. It set off our front light and doorbell, but by the time I got out there, the dog was gone. It appears to be either weak, or has an injured back right leg, possibly. It was last seen heading north on Meadowview Lane, north of Amsterdam. I really hope it gets reunited with its family.

Hey neighbors I thought I’d get this out a little earlier this year! Y’all remember Gaga? Well her birthday is around the corner (June 14th flag day) 103rd birthday to be exact. I’m all about celebrating her in a big way!!! I’m currently attempting to get her featured on the today show 🤞 but I really wanted to get the community involved again! Any thoughts on what to do? We collected 101 birthday cards for her 101st but honestly I’m not sure she could go through all those again please respond with thoughts!! All suggestions welcomed!! Maybe flowers (that would be a lot 😂 but she loves them)

What the heck is going on at taco bell on sr 135 8n greenwood. I can't back out of the drive thru line and been here almost 40 minutes. 4 cars ahead of me and about 25 minutes for each car. One person has been at the window for almost 15 minutes as well. Must be only 1 person working on a Friday night. They close at 4 am. So maybe I'll get my food then.

**UPDATE** Investigators are now looking for a newer black model (2018-2022) Chevrolet truck with a crew cab and chrome trim. Pictures included Indiana State Fire Marshal investigators seek help from the public in identifying a person who may have cell phone video of a home fire this week in Lawrenceburg. Fire crews responded to a home fire at about 1:24 p.m. on Tuesday at 17187 American Lane in rural Lawrenceburg. The fire was fully involved when crews arrived. No injuries were reported. Firefighters and the homeowner reportedly arrived to find a man filming the fire with a cell phone camera. Investigators ask members of the public to contact the Indiana Arson Hotline at 1-800-382-4628 if they have any information about the fire or the man on the scene. The man is considered only a witness at this time.

Update: Today is the first time since my post that I have been at my daughter's due to spring break. There was loud banging on the door a little before 1:00pm. Long story short it was 3 boys 4 doors down, confirmed, ID'd with pics and videos that all but capture them physically touching the door. When they came back a 2nd time I was watching, yelled at them, they knew they were caught (their reaction was HILARIOUS), and they ran right back inside until they left with mommy a few minutes ago. I reported to police via phone and was told they'd send someone out, only to get a phone call back from an officer Peterson who sounded like he was having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. 🤣 (There's a kids book with that in the title. 😉) I can't be sure, of course, why he felt the need to project his attitude about his crappy day through the phone to me, but he clearly didn't want to be talking to me, and quite honestly I let his attitude coerce me into saying I just wanted it documented because I sure as heck didn't want to meet the guy and deal with him in person. So, GPD sure doesn't care to do anything about it even though we now know who. I mean God forbid you come out, confront the little a**holes, and have a little chat with mom and the boys like REAL cops do. God forbid you establish a presence or say something to get through to kids whether as a role model to inspire them in a positive way or as an authority figure to put fear in them. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I guess they're only interested in the big time crimes so screw harrassment and people just have to deal. It's sad & pathetic though...THESE KIDS ARE THE FUTURE CRIMINALS OF GREENWOOD. IT STARTS WITH THIS PETTY BEHAVIOR. --------------------------------------------------------------------- I have seen posts on here before about people knocking on doors or ringing doorbells in the middle of the night. Any follow up to these events would be appreciated. Like did the people ever come back, try to break in, attempt to steal a car, etc.? This happened to my daughter last night, and it's not the first time. Her Ring camera activated and video showed the person running away. She lives in an apartment off Main & Combs. Just wondering what 's their point/what's their end game? Is she being watched to be targeted and for what? She did report, but do police even take this type of thing seriously? Are they interested in finding people roaming about all hours of the night to put a stop to it? Or is it a scenario where some tragedy has to occur first before police take action?

Kristin Morris agree the chosen is amazing- has changed so many lives. I love seeing the testaments! I cried watching the series. Maybe you could all sit and watch together- it truly is life changing! Also, she needs someone to talk to... Betsy Robbins is an amazing family counselor. You could go see her yourself. I have been seeing her for years sometimes I go more often in times of distress and sometimes I go less often but I have been seeing her for at least 7 years. She is an amazing counselor and an amazing person. If you and your family don’t reach out to her please reach out to someone. Coffeehouse 5 in Greenwood also offers Christian based counseling services as well for free- you could check into that as well if finances/ insurance becomes an issue as it does so often unfortunately.
