Zinsco breakers I upgraded my electrical panel and changed to a different style of breakers these are from the old panel and I know they are getting hard to find. Two breakers are fairly new within the year. I replaced them., The 2 pole 20 and 2 pole 30 All the breakers even the older ones still work fine never had any problems with them despite the reputation and Zeno’s. If you have this type of breaker can use them I’m selling all of them attached. To the.Bus for 40 bucks maybe I can save someone some money because I know there were a lot of these in this neighborhood

Anyone interested in a starter flock of chickens? 10-12 hens, 2-3 years old. Mix of breeds, all happy, healthy, and raised organically. Need to make room for our newer grow outs. We would love for them all to go together to their new family. Great for tick/bug control, some eggs, and entertainment.

I understand that Tiger Creek Road will be closed from late April to early June by PG&E. The post on Next Door i read said they’d have a detour map to hand out on site. We have our SIR club meetings at the OUR LADY OF THE PINES CATHOLIC CHURCH on Tiger Creek Rd right off HWY 88. I don’t know the area. Does anyone know what routing this hand out is. I could drive up but I’d be flying blind. I can’t find the post that told what street would be utilized but I really need to know a way around this and specific dates. I have 50 to 70 people to route . I called PGE and it took me 1/2 hour to get sometime talk to and he was so indifferent. I asked for one of the detour maps. His answer. He could not provide me with one. Why I asked. We just don’t do that. I said could I swing By and get it and he said they’re not open to the public any more. I told him neither was their service. Worthless. Any one with any information you know to be true ( not just something you heard please) I’d appreciate it. Good ay to you Neighbors

CAL FIRE

On March 31, 2024, and April 8, 2024, the California State University, San Jose (SJSU) Police and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) - Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) Arson and Bomb Unit responded to fires in the Martin Luther King Jr. Library on the SJSU campus. The investigation revealed the fire causes were arson, on State of California property, and occupied by students at the time of the arson fires. The joint law enforcement investigation was a collaboration between SJSU Police and the CAL FIRE – OSFM Arson and Bomb Unit. All personnel involved worked tirelessly to canvass the area, review security camera footage, cultivate leads, and ultimately identify the suspect. The suspect was identified as SJSU sophomore student Amogh Upadhya. Amogh Upadhya was arrested and charged with four (4) counts of Arson and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail. Upadhya is being held on $400,000.00 bail until a court hearing on April 12, 2024. The CAL FIRE – OSFM Arson and Bomb Unit is dedicated to helping agencies all over California no matter the size of the department, location, or the time of day or night. My son went to Walmart last night and was talking to two of the guys that were working at the time of the robbery. There was NO GUN, they had a sweatshirt on with the hoodie tied around their faces. They simply walked in and over to the cash registers took them both out and ran out the door to a waiting car. At the 11:00 p.m. news last night they HAVE NOT been caught. When you tell something that has happened in this community you should be as accurate as you can. Saying that they had a gun could get someone killed.

I just now received a phone call from Kingston, Jamaica claiming they were publishers clearing house, saying I won! But, being the interrogator I can be, I made him hang up on me, because IT IS A SCAM. So, for those of you who actually entered those kind of sweepstakes, DO NOT FALL FOR IT. The phone number I had on my caller id was an 876 area code number..... Just keep your ears perked and either hang up or make them feel ridiculous!

***Ampine Burglary Case Update*** On March 28, deputies responded to a report of vandalism at Ampine in Martell. Upon arrival deputies determined that numerous items were stolen form the property. Deputies identified the suspect vehicle on video surveillance. The following day deputies were informed the stolen items were posted for sale online. A buy/bust was set up to recover the stolen items. The owner identified the items and one of the suspects (Teresa Lucero from Jackson) was arrested. Detectives executed a search warrant at Lucero's residence and located additional stolen property. Detectives determined another suspect (Paul Regruto from San Andreas) was involved in the theft. Detectives found additional stolen items at Regruto's residence. Regruto was located and arrested two days later by patrol deputies.

How do you get rid of these phone calls by scammers. I also get one that say I won the Mega Million. They call daily. There greeting is My name is James Johnson, or some other made up name, and ask "How are you doing today. The last one I got left a call back number, area code 909, when I let it go to answering machine, after I hung up and they called back. They are pests and all have broken English accents.

Plate 88 American Grill and Bar

First time at Plate 88. Good food, great service ( which holds a lot of value). Nice gathering place. I will be back! The bar has a “Cheers” vibe. Love that Please give them a chance. It’s important to have a place to go.
