2015-16 Season (Sophomore)
Honorable mention AP All-American in 2016...2016 Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year...first team All-WAC…WAC All-Defensive Team...All-WAC Tournament...first team NABC All-District 6...USBWA All-District VIII...Lou Henson Award Finalist (Mid-Major Player of the Year by College Insider) and Lou Henson All-America...finalist for Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame...started all 34 games for the Aggies...led the WAC with 20.3 points, 11.6 rebounds and 2.24 blocked shots...led the nation with 27 double-doubles on the season...ranked eighth nationally in rebounding, 26th in scoring and 32nd in blocked shots...led the 22 NCAA Division I players averaging a double-double in scoring and the only one that averaged more than 20 points...scored 690 points, the second most in a season in NM State history...grabbed 396 rebounds, the third-best single season mark in Aggie annals and fourth-best in WAC history...blocked 76 shots, also third-best in Aggie history...scored 275 field goals, the third-best in school history and fourth-best in the WAC...snared 23 rebounds against UTEP on Dec. 2 to equal the seventh most in a game at NM State...the 23 boards marked the second-most in NCAA Division I during the season...scored 24 points to go with the 23 boards for the 10th 20-20 game in school history and the first since in 13 seasons...scored 35 points twice, first against Robert Morris (Nov. 24) and then against Oral Roberts (Dec. 21)...also had 30 points vs. Tennessee Tech (Nov. 18) for three 30-plus games on the year...blocked seven shots in win over CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 18), missing the school single-game record by one block...posted 12 games of 24-plus points, seven games of 15-plus rebounds and eight games of four-plus blocked shots...became the first sophomore to score 1,000 career points at NM State and finished the season with a career total of 1,126 to rank 21st on the Aggie career scoring chart...the 1,126 points equals the fourth-best two-year scoring total at NM State and second-best scoring total in a player’s first two seasons at NM State...Siakam’s 658 career rebounds rank third for a two-year period (Sam Lacey 928 in 1969 & 1970 and Lacey 772 in 1968 & 1969) and 15th all-time at NM State...His 137 career blocks rank as the second most in a two year period and third all-time for the Aggies…named the WAC Player of the Week an unprecedented five times in 2015-16 (Nov. 16, Nov. 23, Nov. 30, Dec. 28, Feb. 8)...was the first player in WAC history to win the Player of the Week three consecutive weeks (the first three weeks of the season)...named WAC Preseason Player of the Year by the league’s media...honored as a Preseason All-WAC First Team selection by both the coaches and media...

A first team All-WAC performer and WAC Freshman of the Year...chosen first-team NABC All-District 6...played in all 34 games for the Aggies, starting 27...the 27 starts came in the last 28 games…ranked second on the team and eighth in the WAC in scoring, averaging 12.8 points a game…led the Aggies and ranked second in the WAC and 92nd nationally in rebounding with 7.7 boards a contest…led the WAC in field goal percentage (.572, 166-290)…led the league and ranked 65th nationally in blocked shots 1.8 per game)…his 61 blocks the fourth most in a season for the Aggies…ranked seventh in the WAC in free throw percentage (.759, 104-137) and 10th in the WAC in minutes played (30.8 per game)...led Aggies in scoring in six games...had Aggies best scoring game with 24 points in win over Seattle U (Feb. 12)...posted Aggies best 17 rebounds against Stetson (Nov. 24)...tallied seven double-doubles on the year...WAC Player of the Week twice (Jan. 26 & Feb. 16)...recorded five blocked shots three times (Northern Colorado, UTEP and Chicago State)... 

2013-14 Season (Freshman)
Redshirted at New Mexico State...

Siakam attended God’s Academy in Lewisville, Texas...played in 10 of the school’s 21 games, averaging 15.9 points, 12.7 rebounds and 5.5 blocked shots a game... shot 66.7 percent from floor (70-of-105) and 63.3 percent from free throw line (19-of-30)...averaged 1.0 assists and 1.1 steals as well...posted best games of 28 points, 16 rebounds and nine blocks with the Ambassadors...

Major is Individualized Studies…brother James played at Vanderbilt (2011-15), where he averaged 9.2 points and 5.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks as a senior in 2015...brother Christian played at UIPUI (2008-12), where he averaed 9.3 points as a junior with 6.9 boards in 2011...oldest brother Boris played at Western Kentucky (2004-2008) and averaged 4.8 points and 3.9 rebounds as a senior in 2008...son of Victoire and the late Tchamo Siakam…born in Douala, Cameroon.
