Some Range Data

Conch-L post by
Harry Lee 8/1/13:

"Jacksonville Shell Club member Brian Marshall has just discovered a living colony of Nerita fulgurans on the jetty rocks of Fort Clinch, Nassau Co., FL at the mouth of the St. Marys River/GA border. This constitutes the northernmost living colony of the genus in the continental Americas.

'Over the course of the last four weeks, numerous contributors have helped refine our knowledge of the geographical limits of distribution for the four true nerites of the western Atlantic (alphabetical order):'

'Although all four species are found in Bermuda, we have found that their ranges on continental shores show differences.
