Variability:  Vicia barbazitae Ten. & Guss. f. barbazitae

Determined according to the botanical key provided in The Flora of the Republic of Macedonia (Micevski, 2001).

Lifeform: Annual; Therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native to Europe: France, Italy and Balkan Peninsula according to The Euro+Med PlantBase (source: ILDIS World Database of Legumes, 2010).

Habitat:  Found in grassland, on the edges of woods, alongside roads.

Flowering period:  Spring.
