I am beginning my blog with a trip to DC to visit my new granddaughter. I’ve been enjoying lots of baby cuddling time, helping out around the house, and eating fabulous seafood whenever possible – easy to do when on the East Coast!
Today, we girls traveled to one of our favorites at Union Market in DC, Rappahannock Oyster Bar. We dined on wonderfully briny Old Salts and sweet and delicious Rappahannocks. As you can see from the blog name, I LOVE oysters. We rounded things out with a bit of sauvignon blanc and shopping.
Downside, it is even hotter here than back in Texas!
