One of 29 1,000-point scorers in Pacific Men's Basketball history, Bill Stricker took the floor for legendary Pacific under head coach Dick Edwards from 1968-70.

Stricker ended his three-year career with the Orange and Black racking up 1,270 points at a rate of 17.16 per game. His 44 points against Portland on December 21, 1968 are a program record, as are his 18 made field goals that game. He also scored 42 against UNLV on February 28, 1970, giving him two of Pacific's six 40-point outings in program history.

Stricker ranks in the top 15 career-wise in program history in scoring (1,270), scoring average (17.16), rebounds (8.43) and field goals made (465). His 582 points during the 1969-70 season are seventh on Pacific's single-season scoring list, and his 22.38 points per game that season rank second.

He was a two-time First Team All-WCAC selection at forward, leading Pacific to a 21-6 overall record - including 13-0 at home - in the 1969-70 season and a tie for first in the WCAC with an 11-3 mark. Stricker was a fourth-round pick of the Washington Bullets in 1970
