Abdel Aziz Al-Rantissi among other Deportees of Marj al-Zouhour
Taken on December 1992, this black-and-white photograph shows Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi, a Palestinian political, and one of the deportees in Marj El Zouhour. Around 415 people were deported from Palestine to Lebanon by "Israeli" Occupation Forces. The Lebanese government, in an agreement with Hamas political faction, did not allow the deportees to enter Lebanon; as a way of pressuring IOF to allow them back in. The Palestinian deportees lived in tents for almost a year, before they were allowed back in.
