State Bank Names June M. Carlson Vice President of Private and Professional Banking

State Bank and Trust Company announced today that June M. Carlson has joined the bank as Vice President of Private and Professional Banking for the Atlanta region. Ms. Carlson most recently was a private banker for Fidelity National Bank.

Ms. Carlson joins the recently created unit devoted to commercial and personal banking services to individuals and professional firms, led by Jean Holloway, Director of Private and Professional Banking.

“June is a savvy and established private banker and we are extremely pleased to bring her to State Bank for our clients,” said Mike Sims, Atlanta Regional President. “She has more than 25 years in banking and the added depth she brings is another indication of our expertise in meeting the banking needs of legal, medical and accounting firms.”

Ms. Carlson began her banking career at Citibank in New York. She has worked in private and professional banking management positions for First Atlanta Bank, Wachovia Bank, and community banks in Atlanta. She serves on The Buckhead Club board of governors and is a member of the Leadership Sandy Springs class of 2013.

She is based in State Bank’s Buckhead office at 415 E. Paces Ferry Road.
