The New York Jets have declared #TeamConrad.

On Thursday, the official account for the NFL team posted a photo of the stars of The Summer I Turned Pretty, Sean Kaufman, David Iacono, and Christopher Briney, on Instagram, showing the trio’s support for the team.

While The Summer I Turned Pretty stars showed they’re rooting for the Jets, the NFL team shared which character they are rooting for on the series, with the caption: “Jets are #TeamConrad.”

Briney who stars as Conrad Fisher posed in the center, with Kaufman, who stars as Steven, to his left, and Iacono, who stars as Cameron, to his right. But one key cast member, Gavin Casalegno, who stars as Jeremiah Fisher, was missing from the photo, and he made cheeky a comment in response to his absence.

The Dallas-born actor poked fun at the NFL team’s preference for Briney’s character and commented on the photo of his costars, “Probably why you lost… but the @dallascowboys know what’s up, and I guess the @chiefs do too🤷‍♂️.”

In the coming-of-age romance series, Casalegno and Briney portray two brothers who both fall in love with the same girl, Isabel "Belly" Conklin. The summer before Conrad heads to college the families gather at the Fisher’s vacation home for one last summer, but once Belly, played by Lola Tung, is finally noticed by her lifelong crush, Conrad, she wavers from the platonic to the romantic with her best friend — and Conrad's younger brother — Jeremiah.

As the second season continued, fans and audiences alike began assembling teams and declaring which brother they wanted Belly to end up with. “Team Conrad” and “Team Jeremiah” became viral hashtags on TikTok, with Briney’s character scoring over 3.1 billion views and Casalegno’s character garnering 1.8 billion views

The series' second season concluded on Aug. 18 and was renewed for a third season ahead of the season finale on Aug. 3.

While the Jets may have declared #TeamConrad, the official X account (formerly known as Twitter) for the NFL team also posted a photo of another star in attendance. The account shared a photo of Succession’s Jeremy Strong in all green, with the caption, “The eldest boy has arrived,” as a nod to his character's famous line from the series finale.

In addition to Strong and The Summer I Turned Pretty cast, the Jets' game against the Chiefs had several more celebrity viewers, including Taylor Swift, Sophie Turner, Blake Lively, Robyn Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Sabrina Carpenter, Antoni Porowski, Shawn Levy, Carson Daly, and longtime Chiefs fan Paul Rudd

More recently, Swift has put the internet into a tizzy after being seen at two Cheifs games, amid her rumored romance with the team’s tight end, Travis Kelce.

Her New York appearance came after the “Cruel Summer” singer attended the Kansas City Chiefs' game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, on Sept. 24.
