Tanzania Trip 2019
Representatives of Prince of Peace Church will be traveling to visit our brothers and sisters in Bomalang’ombe, Tanzania, in June, 2019. They will worship, build relationships and see the good work that God is doing through our partnership. Here is information on how you can help prepare for the trip.
April Giving Challenge: Friends of Huruma
We’ve been challenged to raise $2000 to be matched this month! The Huruma Centre is a ministry of the Iringa Diocese in Tanzania and provides a safe home, nurture, nutrition and education for children who, for a variety of reasons, have no family or others to care for them. Friends of Huruma helps provide care for the children of the Huruma Centre through mutual relationship, prayer, financial support, and programs that enrich the lives of the children.
Generosity Overwhelms Friends of Huruma
During Lent, Prince of Peace was challenged with a matching grant by one of our members to raise at least $2000 to help support our newest ministry partner in Tanzania. Through Sunday, April 22, we have received gifts totaling $3,476. Including additional matches, this means the orphanage will soon receive funding totaling $10,952!
New Mission Partners: Friends of Huruma

On Sunday, April 8th, Pastor Chris Smith, Coordinator of the Friends of Huruma will be our guest preacher. Friends of Huruma will help provide care for the children of the Huruma Centre through mutual relationship, prayer, financial support, and programs that enrich the lives of the children.
