Comoros: Species observed on Grande Comore at low altitude on sandy clay stony soil.
Mayotte: Rhynchosia viscosa is a native species which grows in the stations of the hygrophilic zone, in particular along the paths in forest. It is also found in crops, especially in the south of the island.
Reunion: Rhynchosia viscosa is a common species in the undergrowth of low and medium altitudes. It is located locally in the sugar cane fields.

Comoros : Rhynchosia viscosa is a rare weed in cultivated plots.
Mayotte: Rhynchosia viscosa is an uncommon weed, present in 2% of cultivated plots, especially in pastures, but also in food crops. It can also be found in ylang plantations.
Reunion : punctual weed in sugar cane, at low altitudes in the southwest plains of the island.
