Large carved Neolithic stones near Mucklestone, Blore Heath, near Market Drayton. Originally a chambered tomb in a field and dated about 4500 BC, the stones being long ago moved into a nearby field-hedge for safe-keeping. From a 1930s book on the history of the Potteries.
