What will you be remembered for? 🧡

3 (of the many) lessons from my interview w/ @davidgoggins last night. 1. Your past doesn’t need to define you. In fact it is the very thing that needed to happen for you so you can overcome it and in the process of you becoming someone you are proud of. 2. Armor Your Mind. Your mind will always want you to go back to the scared little kid. It’s normal. But it’s your job to train it daily so you have more positive thoughts instead of negative ones. 3. Stack Up Wins. David stacks up 10-20 wins every morning before looking at his phone or allowing life’s interruptions to try to bring him down. At the end of the day he has so many little wins added up that the losses of life don’t bring him down. Side note. He walked on stage with 2 (yes 2) broken legs where he had the doctors intentionally break and realign them so he could see what he’s capable of for the rest of his life. And he put up a few dozen push ups with 2 broken legs for the fun of it. Because pain and suffering is the pathway to growth. Trust the timing of your life. You are exactly where you are supposed to be. 🧡

It took me YEARS to open up and peel back the layers of my past, traumas, and experiences. Learning to embrace vulnerability transformed my life, my business, and my relationships. It can feel scary to remove the mask, open yourself up, and be seen as YOU. "What if no one likes who I really am?" I know that was a fear of mine. But here’s the thing: What is the point of reaching the mountaintop if you are alone? What’s the point of reaching a goal if you aren't even you? Just the shell of yourself. Vulnerability fosters a rich and fulfilling life as it lets you know that the people around you truly love and support you for your authentic self.
