AP Chest X-ray

x-ray

Endotracheal tube, enteric tube, left chest tube in satisfactory position.

Left pulmonary contusion and small left pneumothorax.

Multiple left rib fractures.

Case Discussion

This represents a case of pulmonary contusion. After a motor vehicle accident, the patient presented to the emergency department via emergency medical services. Upon arrival, a chest x-ray revealed a left pulmonary contusion.
