Asian Hornsnail Batillaria attramentaria
Range: Coastal Russia To Hong Kong. All along the coast of Vancouver Island and in many inlets and bays. Extends south to California. (an introduced species in the early 1900s with the Pacific oyster).
Interesting: Has also introduced trematode parasites with it.
