The guitar features an authentic Two Tone Sunburst body refinish in nitrocellulose lacquer by Fiesta Finishes™. The neck finish and decal appear to be original, with the normal factory thin finish and checking. The guitar has recently been refretted. There was an extra pick guard screw between the bridge and middle pickups. The hole has been filled in both the body and the pick guard.
All parts on the guitar are original, right down to the screws. This includes all electronics, all plastic, and all hardware. The original trem arm and trem cover are included, and the guitar ships in its original red plush lined Tweed case.
This is a fablulous playing and sounding Strat. Pure 50's maple neck Bell Tone.
The serial number is -17XXX. The weight is 7.5 lbs. The original pickups measure, from neck to bridge, 5.7K, 5.9K, 5.5K Ohms. The nice, big, V-Neck measures .874" at 1st fret and .979" at 12th fret. The body date is 5/57 and the neck date is 7-57. Pots are coded 304 715.
