Devaney's boxing shrimp (Stenopus devaneyi).

This is one of the mid sized species of Boxing shrimps. Whilst not as predatory as the larger species such as the Banded coral shrimp / Boxer shrimp (Stenopus hispidus), this species is not safe with very small fish, or, smaller shrimps. It is generally fine with fish over 2”, and larger shrimp species such as Cleaner shrimps (Lysmata amboinensis).

SIZE

Up to 3”.

COMPATIBILITY

May attack small fish, generally safe with anything bigger than 2”. Safe with all corals. May eat smaller shrimps. Inverts such as these may be eaten by some fish such as Triggers, Puffers, etc.
