Haymarket Brewing is a brewery & bar branded for "working people." It's named after its location, Chicago’s Haymarket Square, the site of the world famous Haymarket Affair of 1886. That affair — which included a demonstration, riot and bombing — led directly to the creation of the eight-hour work day, and annual May Day celebrations that are still held around the globe.
