2001 Ducati Monster 600 Dark
The start of the Monster Dark craze, this 2001 Ducati Monster 600 Dark was sold to its one and only owner out of my former Ducati dealership. It has lived a sheltered life in the garage every night amongst some other Italian 4 wheeled stablemates and has only racked up 2.650 miles in all those years. Used strictly for the joy of owning, hearing and riding a Ducati. Just a few year ago it was given a thorough check up, new tires, fluids, timing belts, a new battery just last year and a carb overhaul this past March. Is it perfect? no but it is in fantastic shape for a 21 year old one owner Ducati. It does have the classic tank dent from a driveway tip over where the handlebars tagged the tank but really doesn’t stand out. Any other critical damaged parts were replaced. The mandatory carbon fiber bits were added, a rear inner carbon fender and carbon heel guards were added as well as a front fairing and rear seat cover. When these were brand new in the US they really ran a bit lean to meet EPA standards here, this one was returned to its European specs and it ran the way it should, to this day it still runs as good as ever. This is an affordable entry to owning your first Ducat, don’t let this summer fun get away!. We have both factory keys, owners manual, all service history, original brochure and a clear WA title.

Ducati’s most basic, no-frills motorcycle can be described as a jack-of-all-trades – World Superbike-winning chassis, excellent brakes and a comfortable riding position could make this the only bike you’ll ever need. It looks fabulous, sounds even better and offers sprightly, spirited performance. What’s more, the Ducati M600 Monster is an affordable way in to the sought-after Ducati motorcycles brand. With its small size, grunty engine and sporty Ducati 888 geometry, the Ducati M600 Monster is great fun for hurtling around corners. The suspension works well and the brakes are more than capable of bringing you to a halt. Marzocchi forks and Brembo brake calipers signify a high standard of components but the Ducati M600 Monster is, otherwise, a relatively simplistic motorcycle. A lot of owners add aftermarket screens and carbon fibre bodywork to spruce things up. The low seat makes it extremely popular with smaller riders.
