Hall of Fame Class: 1986 (Men's Basketball)

From 1969 through 1972, Florida State basketball teams won 67 games and lost just 18, the best three-year stretch in Seminole history. A key to that record was talented forward Rowland Garrett who became one of only two men to play on FSU’s two finest teams, the 1969-70 and ’71-’72 squads. Rowland, an FSU co-captain as a senior, averaged 13.0 points a game and was a major force in his team’s drive to the NCAA finals. After graduation Garrett played for five years in the NBA.
