Marvel Studios is finally unveiling its cast for the new Fantastic Four movie.

On Wednesday, Marvel announced that Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, The Bear's Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Stranger Things' Joseph Quinn will star in The Fantastic Four, in theaters July 25, 2025.

"Happy Valentine’s Day from Marvel’s First Family! Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn are The Fantastic Four," Marvel wrote on Instagram with the news.

The announcement followed months of reports that The Last of Us star Pascal, 48, was in talks to star in the film as Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mister Fantastic, the leader of the superhero group.

This isn't the first time Fantastic Four has saved the day on the big screen. For two films, in 2005 and 2007, the core cast was portrayed by Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis. Then, a 2015 remake starred Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell.

Additionally, John Krasinski portrayed a parallel universe version of Reed Richards in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in 2022.

Disney, and its Marvel Studios, obtained the rights to the characters in 2019 when it bought Fox and can now add them to their interconnected Marvel Cinematic Universe films and television shows. The Fantastic Four will be directed by WandaVision filmmaker Matt Shakman.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige told Entertainment Weekly last year, "Fantastic Four is the foundation for everything that came after in the comics. There's certainly been versions of it [on screen], but never inhabiting the storytelling of the MCU. And that's something that is really exciting for us."

The Fantastic Four is in theaters July 25, 2025. The MCU's next big screen adventure, Deadpool & Wolverine, is in theaters July 26.
