Charlie Yeung to wed this Saturday
30 Oct – Hong Kong actress Charlie Yeung recently announced that she will be tying the knot with her boyfriend of 19 years, Khoo Shao Tze.
As reported on Sohu website, on 29 October, Charlie announced the good news on her micro blog, saying, "Right now, I would like to share something good with you. I am going to get married with my other half."
She also revealed that the wedding will be held in two separate places, and stated that they decided to finally tie the knot when they realised that they are ready to become a family.
The 39-year-old actress has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with the Singaporean lawyer for 19 years. Since their reconciliation in 2011, she had turned down his proposal several times.
Sources claimed that the actress finally said yes when Khoo proposed again on her birthday last May, but had to postpone their marriage plan due to the release of her directorial debut, "Christmas Rose".
The couple will be holding their wedding at a five star hotel in Singapore on 2 November, and invited celebrity guests such as Gigi Leung, Julian and Anita Yuen, Aaron Kwok, Valen Hsu, Angelica Lee and Oxide Pang Chun, as well as Charlie's director and mentor, Tsui Hark.
