On April 29, 1995, the Raiders’ home field was named the G. Arthur Fairchild Field in honor of head coach Art Fairchild, who retired at the end of the season. Fairchild Field, on the north side of campus, has been the home of Raider baseball since 1973. Prior to that, the team played its home games at Eckels Field on the south side of campus.

The team first played on Fairchild Field in 1971, but played at Eckels in 1974 before returning in 1975. The field is one of the best in the PSAC, with outstanding infield drainage.

The field under went major renovation in 2006. The outfield fence was rebuilt. The fence was also moved out and deeper with 330 feet down the foul lines and 400 feet to center field. The fence is eight feet high all the way around the outfield.
