One of the most beautiful restaurants in the world, Nunziatina is inspired by the world of Sicilian grandmas and translated into an international gastronomic project that has transformed the values of Italianness into a lifestyle experience based on the 5 senses.

Nunziatina is the typical Sicilian grandmother, perhaps a little eccentric and excessive, who knows how to transform every meal into an extraordinary occasion to celebrate.

A promise kept in the new restaurant, which debuted in style in Taormina in 2023, opened by Guido Spinello, Christian Sciglio, Salvo Lo Giudice, and Dario Zappalà, already known for the legendary Morgana Lounge Bar in the center of Taormina; a guarantee, therefore, in terms of lifestyle hospitality of the highest level.

Nunziatina is inspired by the warmth of the typical Sicilian home, sincere, welcoming and generous.

The architectural and interior design project was developed by AM3 associated architects from Palermo and Studio Musumeci Design, by Salvatore and Giovanni Musumeci, who were inspired by the cult of the superfluous that characterizes the typical homes of opulent and baroque Sicily.

Bold color and material choices treated in a pan-European dandy style alternate with panoramic terraces and Wunderkammer-style rooms decorated with Sicilian symbols, from votive hearts to Moorish heads.

The Executive Chef is Dionisio Randazzo, from Terrasini near Palermo, with international experience including alongside Gordon Ramsay, who returned to work in Sicily precisely to follow this project.

His proposal is based on the utmost attention to the raw material; a cuisine that highlights native ingredients, refined to satisfy every palate, rich in flavors always sincere, evocative and ancestral, basic and baroque at the same time.

The menu changes according to the seasons, with delicious and light starters such as Salmon with red turnip, burrata cheese, pistachios and fennel or raw amberjack with Noto almonds, Salina cucunci and unripe grapes, up to refined main courses such as Tagliatelle with shellfish, aubergine, stracciatella and Ispica sesame or Cod with tasty sauce, carob, mussels and crunchy potato.

The attention to the service and to every detail is incredible, where everything is designed to promote Italianness, the sense of family and being at the table, aiming to give the guest a gastronomic experience sublimated through the 5 senses.

In fact, the settings and mise en place change every season to offer ever-new emotions, from the magical Christmas to the summer Dolce Vita. What never changes is the beauty of its two terraces and, in particular, the privileged view of one of the most sought-after tables in Sicily overlooking the wonderful gulf of Naxos.

The attention to the smallest detail also includes the musical sphere: in fact, ad hoc soundtracks are created for Nunziatina which vary according to the different seasons and menus and which can also be listened to on Spotify.
