Diagnosis: Vasum Caestus is a type of marine organism, which is part of the Vasum Genus. Vasum Caestus is in the Vasinae Subfamily and Turbinellidae Family, the Muricoidea Superfamily. It can be further characterized as in the Neogastropoda Order in the Caenogastropoda Subclass. It forms part of the Gastropoda Class, which is part of the Mollusca Phylum that is in the Animalia Kingdom. This organism is a type of species with a mantle with a significant cavity used for breathing and waste, a radula and a nervous system (squid, snails, oysters, etc.).Vasum Caestus is related to or has the following physical characteristics: marine, also called sea snails, only have 1 kidney, shell has well-developed siphonal canal, siphon is elongated and trunk like, siphon is extensible tube formed from fold in mantle, siphon used to suck water into the mantle cavity, bipectinate osphradium located at base of siphon and branches off from a central axis, a sensory receptacle is located at the base of the siphon, the olfactory organ is located at the base of the siphon, olfactory organ more developed than in mesogastropoda, snail, monophyletic, have single auricle in heart, have a single pair a gill leaflets on one side of the central axis, snails and slugs, translates as stomach foot, univalve, has a mantle with a significant cavity used for breathing and excretion, most mollusks have a radula, has a nervous system, multicellular organism, eukaryote (nucleus and organelles in membrane), body plan becomes fixed eventually, excluding metamorphosis, motile (most species), must ingest another organisms or their product to live,
