2 Description of the educational and training system in Slovakia The educational system as defined by the current Slovak legislation includes the following levels of education: 1. pre-primary education 2. primary and lower secondary education 3. secondary general and vocational/technical education 4. higher (tertiary) education 5. education of adults E-learning as a concept is relevant to all the above levels with the possible exception of pre-primary education.
