Biography
Jason Thompson was born in Alberta, Canada in 1976 as Jason Craig Thompson. He left home at the age of 18 to become a model and laded a well-known ad campaign for The Gap in 1999. With the money he made from modeling he traveled extensively before turning his attention to acting.
He landed a few guest roles on primetime and film, including “Felicity” and “Undressed” before making his break on daytime as Dr. Patrick Drake on “General Hospital” in 2005, a role he played for 10 years.
In 2016 Thompson took over the role of Billy Abbott on “The Young and the Restless.”
