What a load of well-meaning rubbish!
That message was often repeated to me as a child when I 'wasted' my pocket money. I used to wonder why they gave me the money if I couldn't do what I liked with it.
Seriously though, saving a portion of your income we earn is a good idea if you earn enough to have a bit of spare. I agree, though, saving money is a boring task for most people.
The cost of living and life ambitions rise all the time so saving money is all the more difficult as well as challenging. However, every one of us should try to save.
The best money-saving tip I know is sensible money management. Make sure you know what you spend and what you spend it on then see where you can cut down.
