World's Weirdest Phobias Part 2

This is the second and most probably final part of an earlier post. I was reading more on uncommon phobias and I just decided to do this and so, let's start.

Chaetophobia

This is a fear of hair. It's mostly fear of loose hair but in some extreme cases, people are terrified of their own body hair. It must be seriously hard to live with this phobia, especially since practically every human being has hair and some people even have it in excess.

Hylophobia

This is a fear of wood, trees and forests. So, people are scared of trees now. Should we blame this on the Lord of the Rings and those Ents?. I genuinely have nothing else to say about this. Trees!

Phagophobia

This is the fear of swallowing. This one is as weird as it is life threatening. We kinda have to swallow those little things called food and water if we want to live, so I'm mostly worried how people living with this phobia are still alive. This seems like the fastest way to get dehydration or starve to death. I think it's really important that people with this phobia seek professional help. I'm not being mean, I'm just worried that it could also develop into an eating disorder. Food and water's is very important for the human body.

Omphalophobia

It's a fear of belly buttons. Enough said. Let's just move on and pretend that this isn't a thing. I will just say that I don't understand the fear of body parts at all. Maybe it's because the phobia doesn't affect me, but how can someone be scared of belly buttons?. You have them practically since birth. I mean, do you just wake up one morning and decide to be scared of something that's been with you forever and isn't capable of being scary at all?. Human beings are the strangest creatures ever.

Panphobia

This is the the fear of everything. I don't want to seem insensitive but seriously, who is scared of everything?. This is how people become hermits, like Andre's grandma from the Nickelodeon series, Victorious.

Phobophobia

This is the phobia of having phobias. Can I just take the time out to point out how ironic this is?. Someone was so scared of having phobias that they gave themselves one. I can't even begin to touch the irony.

So, this is today's list and I hope enjoyed it. I really wish you guys could have seen my facial expressions. I think I need to figure out dtube.
