Where Did All The Sticker Albums Go?

Around 2014, when Addie & Emmy were little, I looked EVERYWHERE for sticker albums so they could start their collections! And let’s be honest, so I could try to keep the stickers off my floors, furniture, walls, etc etc! But I could not find them anywhere! I even asked in a couple mom groups and would get the same answers – that they too were looking for them and had no luck.

Searching “sticker book” on google and amazon would just bring up books pre-filled with stickers! Which wasn’t what we were looking for! However those are awesome too and we have an amazing Lisa Frank book of stickers (that’s what they should really be called!) on our website, click below!

So, fast forward to 2021, the kids are at school and I’m scrolling Facebook on my phone, and I see a post from a Mom asking “Does anyone know where we can find those sticker albums we had when we were little for collecting stickers?! I’ve looked everywhere!” And I think MAN, I have seen so many Moms post this over the years. And ding ding ding! I get an idea… I should start a sticker album business with Addie & Emmy! It could be a fun little project we work on on weekends and after school and it could teach them so much! And I obviously knew the demand was high! Being an entrepreneur family already (see our other business here – Revelation Cable Company), I felt I knew what it took to start a business!

You can just smell the stickers when you spot an old vintage scratch and sniff sticker that you had as a child! You get warm fuzzy feelings when you recognize stickers that you had too as a child!”

And this is how Stick by Me Stickers was born! The girls were so excited to take their talents as artists and help design the book covers and die cut stickers we well. And we were having so much fun we decided to add stickers from other companies, scented pens, pencils and erasers! I may even be having more fun than they are! If I could go back and tell my 10 year old self that this would be my full time job as a grown up, I would have been never believed it! I would have been ecstatic!!!
