Gothenburg's Frölunda Hockey Club called upon the public this week to help it replace its 'Indians' logo, which the team announced it would drop by the 2021-22 season.

The team adopted the nickname and logo of a Native American man back in 1995 but it came under fire in recent years for it.

During the summer, the Gothenburg-based club announced it would review the nickname and logo and in September committed to changing them before the start of the next season.

Frölunda, which won the Swedish Championship last year, now wants help in creating its new identity.

We want help from everybody who cares or has an opinion on what kind of logo we should have,"
