... and, from the Planet of the Mimes, the Copper Kidd!

Bumblebee is a young and eager Autobot, a member of the last generation to be created before the loss of the AllSpark. He's full of energy and determination to do the right thing, and can always be counted on to volunteer for action. His small size, matched with his impressive speed, made him an excellent scout and messenger on war-torn Cybertron. Grievously injured and rendered mute by Megatron during the war for Cybertron, Bumblebee was haunted by the loss of his voice box for many years, creating a ruthless streak at odds with his otherwise friendly personality. Determined to prove himself, Bumblebee kept fighting even after the Transformers' age-old war spilled over to Earth.

Earth was a far cry from the ravaged wasteland of his birth, and Bumblebee adapted to his new home faster than any of his fellow Autobots. He's grown to like and understand humans, particularly Raf Esquivel, and Denny and Russell Clay. In befriending the natives, Bumblebee also developed a love for human culture, be it the historical exploits of Earth's cowboys or cheesy hair-metal bands. In some ways, he considers the planet to be his adopted homeworld.

Towards the end of the war, Optimus Prime would officially promote Bumblebee to a full-fledged warrior. Years later, Lieutenant Bumblebee would wind up in charge of his own team. In his new role as commander, Bumblebee's old gung-ho enthusiasm has been tempered by his newfound maturity and the burdens of leadership... and doubts about whether or not he can fill the shoes of his mentor. That said, he's learning through trial and error to lead in his own way, and slowly but surely Bumblebee is stepping out of Optimus's shadow to become a capable leader in his own right.

Sometimes he works with the Mini-Cons B.B., Buzzstrike, Ironjam, or Stuntwing. He can also combine with Sideswipe to form Beeside and with Grimlock to form Bumblegrim, and they can combine even further with the rest of the Bee Team to form Ultra Bee.

Bee quickly grew wise from his experience leading the Bee Team, and he quickly implemented it by mentoring Rescue Bot recruit Wedge.

Bumblebee was part of the last generation of Cybertronians that emerged from the Well of All Sparks after it had stopped producing life in a lull at the beginning of the Autobot-Decepticon war. Like all born during the war, he joined the Autobots. He became part of Optimus Prime's inner circle with Jazz, Ironhide and Prowl, and also befriended Ratchet, learning first aid skills from him in the few battles they fought together.

When Optimus ejected the AllSpark from the Well into space, Bumblebee distracted Megatron at Tyger Pax, and paid the ultimate price when the tyrant destroyed his vocoder. Ratchet repaired it, but Bumblebee was only able to speak from time to time. When Megatron stole the Plasma Energy Chamber underneath the High Council Tower, Bumblebee followed him to the Geosynchronous Energon Bridge below the ruins of Crystal City and witnessed him use it to corrupt Cybertron's core with Dark Energon.

Bumblebee informed Optimus of what he saw, but first he had to serve as part of the extraction unit in Optimus's rescue of Sentinel Prime from Kaon. Afterwards Optimus, Bumblebee and Jetfire journeyed to the core through the Well. Due to the heavy buildup of Dark Energon, Bumblebee found it a distressing experience and lost it when they reached the core, silently tearing out the protruding Corruption Spikes. Though fearful of what would happen, Optimus was able to remove the Chamber and begin Cybertron's healing.

Back at Iacon, Optimus announced Project Generation One to evacuate Cybertron, for the planet could not sustain a fraction of the life it currently supported if it were to survive. Bumblebee boarded the Eight Track with the other elite Autobots and drew out and entered Trypticon. Avoiding Trypticon's corridor drones and Minicons they blew up the Dark Energon Facility, causing him to crash. Bumblebee boarded the Ark, which flew him and his friends through the last space bridge to a spiral galaxy with the AllSpark detected nearby. Exodus

After passing through the unstable space bridge, Bumblebee and the Autobots aboard the Ark found themselves in the vicinity of a Cybertronian colony world called Velocitron. Bumblebee was part of Optimus Prime's initial landing team, who made contact with the planet's rulers, Override and Ransack. It was a time of great stress between Velocitron's rulers, and the Autobots' arrival from mythical Cybertron only exacerbated the situation. Although the Autobots secured an ally in Override, they left Velocitron on the brink of civil war during their departure.

The next leg of their journey through the Space Bridge brought the Autobots to fabled Junkion, a world composed entirely of space junk. Bumblebee and the Autobots met Wreck-Gar and his ever-busy people, the Junkions, who maintained an entire planet made of derelict ships and space junk that gravitated together over time. Optimus Prime's Matrix-induced visions led him on a quest through one of the four Space Bridge nodes surrounding Junkion, and he selected Bumblebee and Silverbolt to accompany him. Through the Bridge they came across the lonely tomb of Solus Prime, fabled artifacer of the Thirteen. Her holographic spirit was called forth by the Matrix and informed the Autobots that the Requiem Blaster, most deadly of her creations, rested on Junkion and must be kept out of Decepticon hands.

Returning to Junkion, Bumblebee joined the other Autobots in a struggle with the Decepticons aboard the newly arriving Nemesis. The Requiem Blaster was uncovered inside a ship at the planet's core. A weapon capable of drawing infinite power from nearby stellar sources, the Requiem Blaster had its own gravity field, and had literally been the core around which Junkion's "junk" had formed. The fighting over the Requiem Blaster ripped the planet apart, but both sides eventually called off the melee and abandoned the Blaster after learning the location of the Allspark itself. Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and the rest of the Autobots boarded the Ark and began the long race to reach their civilization's greatest prize before Megatron could. Exiles

As the Ark travelled deeper into unknown space, the Autobots came across the mysterious planet of Aquatron. Along with Kup, Prowl, and Rodimus, Bumblebee was part of the initial away team aboard the Ark's dropship, sent to scout out the planet. They discovered a civilization of benevolent amphibious robots skilled in the art of processing Energon, and made contact with the Curator, who claimed to be an emissary sent to welcome the to Aquatron. When Optimus Prime and some other Autobots arrived as a larger greeting envoy, Optimus collapsed and was rushed to a nearby medical center for diagnostics. Rodimus, Kup, and Bumblebee set off on the dropship to see if the Aquatronians were as benevolent as they claimed. Their dropship malfunctioned and sank, stranding them in a large underwater complex. Bumblebee used his navigational skills to try and plot a safe route back to the surface, and on the way up the trio stumbled across an armada of dormant Sharkticons. Before they could report their find to Optimus, they also encountered the Hydratron, which hypnotized them into submission. They were then restrained while the Curator tampered with their minds, and subsequently released on the surface without any memories of the event.

When the Aquatronians revealed themselves to be servants of the Quintessons and arrested both Autobots and Decepticons, Bumblebee was one of the Cybertronians called to testify against his leader in the Quintesson's kangaroo court. The Curator's tampering caused Bumblebee, Kup, and Rodimus to denounce Optimus Prime as a warmonger and a tyrant. Bumblebee eventually snapped out of his trance when the Autobots and Decepticons were forced into an uneasy alliance in their battle to escape from Aquatron. In the aftermath, the Autobots and Decepticons, still in a temporary truce, peacefully departed Aquatron to continue their search for the Allspark. Retribution

Bumblebee at Tyger Pax

During the war on Cybertron in Uniend 610.23 Zeta, Ask Vector Prime Bumblebee caught Optimus's attention by distinguishing himself at the Tagan Heights stalemate and the Autobot victory at Kalis.

He attended a meeting of Optimus's most trusted lieutenants, where the Autobot leader announced his plans to keep the AllSpark from Megatron by launching it into space. Bumblebee was uneasy with this course of action, but did not argue after Ironhide told him to trust in Optimus.

When they neared the Well of AllSparks, Optimus, Bumblebee, and the others learned that Megatron was moving in much earlier than expected. Bumblebee volunteered to act as the group's secondary line of defense should Megatron get past the Wreckers. Optimus granted Bumblebee's request, though he had Cliffjumper join him. On their way to their post, Bumblebee and Cliffjumper ran afoul of Barricade. They engaged the Decepticon, and after a brief tussle, left him behind beaten and unconscious. In doing so, they helped disrupt the Decepticons' entire field position.

When the Decepticons' main force arrived at the Well's brim, Bumblebee gunned for Megatron until the AllSpark was launched. Bumblebee then laughed in Megatron's face over the Decepticons' failure to secure the artifact. Megatron responded by telling Bumblebee that he would never mock anyone else again, and crushed his voice box with a squeeze to the throat. Bumblebee was left to rejoin his team, mute and crippled, only because Megatron abhorred creating another martyr for the Autobots to rally around. Bumblebee at Tyger Pax

Hey Cliff, aren't you supposed to be a red version of me?

During the Great War, Bumblebee was captured at Tyger Pax. The interrogation by Megatron was brutal, but he was later found and a field medic saved his life, though his voice box was a loss. Operation Bumblebee, Part 1 Bumblebee and Cliffjumper invaded Airachnid's lair to rescue Arcee and Tailgate. Bumblebee blasted a couple of Vehicons, but they were too late to save Tailgate. They carried Arcee out as she told them she'd been unable to save her partner. Predatory

Years later, after the war, Bumblebee was stationed on Earth under Optimus Prime's command. He was patrolling a desert area when Optimus ordered everyone back to base so that they could use the GroundBridge to provide Cliffjumper with backup. They did so, but arrived at the battle site too late—Cliffjumper had been taken by the Decepticons, and apparently killed. The Autobots held a brief memorial for their friend.

When Arcee and Jack Darby were pursued by Decepticons, Bumblebee joined in the chase as it moved onto the freeway. After a brief attempt to slow the Decepticons, he joined Arcee in facing the foe in a drainage canal, accidentally crushing a toy car belonging to Rafael Esquivel. During the fight Bumblebee was knocked to the ground, and only Raf's timely distraction allowed him to temporarily get the better of the Decepticons, until Bulkhead arrived and helped them scare the Decepticons off.

Optimus was disappointed that humans had gotten involved, and had Bumblebee and Arcee bring them back to the base. Darkness Rising, Part 1 When Ratchet detected Cliffjumper's signal, Bumblebee was part of the team that went to try and rescue their comrade. Though he and the others valiantly fought through the multitudes of Decepticons at an energon mine, their mission was ultimately a failure, and they had to return to base hastily as the mine exploded. Prime later assigned him to watch over Raf to keep the boy safe from the Decepticons. Darkness Rising, Part 2

Drive on the right side of the road, Bumblebee!

The next day, Bumblebee discovered that he was a lot better than Raf at computer games, though Raf blamed it on Bumblebee's greater experience in driving. When they reached the base, Optimus and Ratchet left on a mission, placing Arcee in charge. Arcee promptly went out on patrol, taking Bumblebee with her and leaving Bulkhead in charge. As they drove through the Nevada desert, Bulkhead reported that Fowler had been abducted by the Decepticons. When it turned out there was no one left at base to bridge them back, Arcee and Bumblebee were forced to drive back. Darkness Rising, Part 3

Sting like a bee = die by fire

Bumblebee and Arcee arrived at the Decepticon ship in time to rescue Raf and Jack from a pair of Decepticons. They quickly located Bulkhead and Miko Nakadai, also moving through the ship, but after it became obvious that the humans were in too much danger as they fought their way through the ship, the Autobots cleared out the ship's bridge for the kids to hide out in. They eventually reached the brig where Fowler was being held, and Bumblebee and Bulkhead burst through the main door while Arcee slipped in through a top vent. A standoff ensued, until Fowler distracted Starscream long enough for the Autobots to start firing. Starscream chased off, the Autobots took off with Fowler and rescued the kids on the way out. Darkness Rising, Part 4

Once the Autobots had located the whereabouts of the Decepticon space bridge—Earth orbit—Optimus, Bulkhead, Arcee and Bumblebee used the GroundBridge to reach it. They were spotted by Megatron and Starscream, who sent a force of flying Decepticons to attack them. While they battled, Ratchet determined a way to destroy the space bridge, so Bumblebee and Bulkhead covered Arcee while she followed his instructions. They committed the necessary act of sabotage before Megatron fired on them, hitting Arcee. As the Autobots jumped back into the GroundBridge, Bumblebee collected Arcee's drifting body and carried her back to base where she recovered enough to stand on her own. Darkness Rising, Part 5

Bumblebee comes up with his own version of punch buggy blue.

Bumblebee helped Raf with his science project, building a small replica of a volcano while they discussed how Bumblebee had not yet risen to the rank of Warrior. As Optimus pointed out, Bumblebee still had much to learn before he could reach that level. Optimus subsequently picked Bumblebee to go on a mission to investigate Decepticon activity, but warned the smaller Autobot to hold back. When Optimus came to blows with Skyquake, Bumblebee decided to disregard the earlier order and charged into battle. Though he was no match for Skyquake, he and Optimus led the Decepticon into a trap and seemed victorious, until Skyquake scanned Fowler's jet. Bumblebee managed to end the fight by jumping onto Skyquake's jet form and causing critical damage, jumping to Fowler's jet as Skyquake crashed to the ground. After some repairs, Optimus commended him on his performance. Masters & Students

Bulkhead and Bumblebee discovered a strange pod in the Arctic which they brought back to base. When the kids arrived at base, Bumblebee was keen to play some video games with Raf, but he and Bulkhead were roped into helping Ratchet repair the GroundBridge, which broke shortly after Optimus and Arcee used it to go to the Arctic. The cause of the problem was revealed when Raf found a Scraplet, which started gnawing on Bumblebee. Raf killed it with a crowbar before it could do much more damage, but Bumblebee ended up having to search the base with Raf for more of the Scraplets. After finding quite a lot of Scraplets, they returned to the control room, where another mass of them overwhelmed Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Ratchet. Though the kids were able to get rid of the attacking Scraplets, Bumblebee was out of it for the rest of the incident, and ended up on a repair bed, being tended to by the kids. Scrapheap

When Wheeljack landed on Earth, Bulkhead, Arcee and Bumblebee turned out to welcome him and arrived in time to see him trash some Vehicons. The Autobots celebrated their new friend's arrival, and Bumblebee and Raf danced The Robot to Miko's guitar playing. Bumblebee also stood around a lot while Bulkhead proved that "Wheeljack" was a Decepticon spy and the real Wheeljack turned up. After everything was resolved, the Autobots had another party to welcome the real Wheeljack, and Bumblebee got to bust out some more dance moves. He and Arcee turned out with Bulkhead to see Wheeljack off when the Autobot returned to space. Con Job

YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME?! YOU WANT A PIECE?! And please don't say you want two, because I know you're not Megatron.

Bumblebee took part in the Autobot convoy to transport Fowler's Dynamic Nuclear Generation System across the US countryside. When MECH attacked them, he bashed into one of the cars they were using, flipping it over. The Autobots successfully passed the D.N.G.S. over to a train, but were shortly after confronted by a squadron of flying Vehicons, and were forced to return to their robot modes to fight. Bumblebee got to try out some boxing moves on a Vehicon, but while the Autobots were occupied, MECH made another attempt to obtain the D.N.G.S. which was foiled by Optimus. Convoy

When an Energon Harvester was located in a museum, the Autobots surrounded the building while the kids went in to steal it. Knock Out and Breakdown appeared at the front of the museum to attack Optimus, and as Breakdown charged at the museum, Bumblebee and Arcee attempted to stop him. Bumblebee was hit by a missile, sending him tumbling, and then by Arcee who'd just missed catching another missile. He, Arcee and Prime later attempted to track down the Decepticons before the Harvester could be used, but they ended up coming to Bulkhead's rescue after he found and stopped the Decepticons himself. I want a new dance partner.

When Arcee refused to go street racing with Jack, Bumblebee was more receptive, though they asked Raf's permission beforehand. Unfortunately also participating in the race was Knock Out, who started firing on Bumblebee. After calling base and letting them know what was up, Bumblebee used an oil slick to slow down Knock Out, and hid under a bridge. They would have escaped detection had another human, Vince, not confronted Jack about apparently pulling out of the race, and Vince was subsequently captured by Knock Out. After Arcee and Bulkhead arrived, the three Autobots pursued Knock Out to a storage facility, where Bumblebee and Bulkhead were ambushed by Breakdown. They defeated Breakdown and caught up with Knock Out. The other 'Con had already been stopped by Optimus, who was very interested in some explanations. Speed Metal

When Optimus was infected with Cybonic plague, Bumblebee and Arcee GroundBridged to the Nemesis to find a cure. Bumblebee discovered Megatron had survived their last battle and was recovering in sickbay. Unable to find the cure on the Decepticons' computer, Bumblebee offered to use the cortical psychic patch to enter Megatron's mind and locate it. Finding himself in a Kaonian dreamscape, Bumblebee saw Megatron killing Optimus repeatedly. Megatron realized he could not harm Bumblebee and demanded to know why he was intruding on his mind. Bumblebee reminded him of the space bridge explosion and implored him to give him the cure, playing on his desire to kill Optimus for real rather than have him succumb to a virus. Megatron showed him the cure but demanded Bumblebee help him out of his stasis lock. Ratchet was recording what Bumblebee saw though, and because they had the cure, Arcee disconnected Bumblebee and GroundBridged back to base. However, Megatron's spark had left his body and escaped into Bumblebee's... Sick Mind

He is no longer the boy you once knew, Obi-Wan.

Bumblebee began to experience visions of Megatron, causing him to stop dead during a basketball game with Bulkhead. After Megatron forced him to crush one of Ratchet's devices, Bumblebee told Ratchet about the visions, and Ratchet induced a power down to give Bumblebee's mind time to recover. Bumblebee reactivated, under the control of Megatron, and, retrieving a piece of Dark Energon from an old battlefield, bridged to the Decepticon warship over the Arctic. Although Ratchet and Raf tried to stop him, even managing to get Bumblebee to reassert control for a few moments, Bumblebee successfully brought Megatron back online and transferred his mind back to his body. Free of Megatron's influence, Bumblebee beat a hasty retreat with Ratchet and Raf. Later at base, Ratchet checked Bumblebee was completely free of Megatron, and the small Autobot thanked Raf for coming to help him. Out of His Head

After a Dark Energon signature was detected, Optimus took a team including Bumblebee to investigate. They instead found Starscream trying to resurrect Skyquake. During the ensuing conflict, the Autobots discovered their human friends had followed them to the battlefield, and the three kids were caught in a freak GroundBridge accident, causing them to disappear. The Autobots returned to base to try and locate their friends, but it wasn't until Bumblebee suggested trying to ring the kids that they found Miko's cellphone, and the kids were able to send a text to it. Ratchet subsequently engineered a portal to rescue the kids from the other dimension they'd become trapped in. Shadowzone

When Breakdown was captured by MECH, Bumblebee and the others were more than happy to leave them to it, but Optimus insisted that they rescue the Decepticon to avoid Cybertronian technology falling into MECH hands. The team arrived in Kamchatka Peninsula and Bumblebee spotted some vehicle tracks, but they opted instead to follow the energon signal Ratchet had detected. After they escaped the bomb that the trace led them to, the team tracked down Bulkhead in time to chase off Starscream and some Vehicons. Operation: Breakdown

Arcee and Bumblebee were in the middle of a fight with some Vehicons when Arcee got a call informing her she had to be in Jack's garage ASAP. After checking if Bumblebee could handle it, Arcee left. Evidently he was able to, as he was later in the Autobot base when Jack and Arcee turned up with June Darby. Crisscross

Bumblebee was part of the team that investigated the wreck of a crashed Decepticon ship and found Airachnid and Starscream. He guarded the bound Starscream while the others decided what to do with the Decepticon. Prime, Bulkhead and Bumblebee went to check out the rear half of the ship, crashed some distance away, and were ambushed by Airachnid who had found an experimental weapon named the Immobilizer. She froze Prime and Bulkhead, but Bumblebee managed to trick her by kicking up a dust cloud with his guns, and then pretending to be frozen after she fired the Immobilizer into it. Once she turned her back, he crept up and sucker punched her before blasting the Immobilizer. After she fled, Bumblebee went back to find Arcee, and interrupted her when she was about to offline Starscream. They returned the pieces of Immobilizer to base, along with Bulkhead and Optimus, and Ratchet was able to repair the device and unfreeze their comrades. Partners

Bumblebee accompanied Prime and Arcee as they tried to retrieve a Cybertronian data cylinder before the Decepticons did. Ultimately the Decepticons made off with the cylinder, and later Bumblebee listened as Ratchet told them the cylinder's contents had ended up in Bulkhead's brain, though the Autobots were excited to find that the equations being scrawled by Bulkhead were a set of formula for synthetic energon. Unfortunately it later turned out that the data was eating Bulkhead's brain. Bumblebee and Arcee accompanied Optimus on an unsuccessful attempt to get the cylinder back from Megatron, and they ended up fighting a bunch of Vehicons. Later they came to Miko and Bulkhead's aid to save the pair from Knock Out and Breakdown, and were present when Miko managed to rouse the comatose Bulkhead with her guitar. T.M.I.

During a mission to stop Knock Out and Breakdown who were transporting energon, Bumblebee, Prime and Bulkhead were separated from Arcee. They caught up to find that Ratchet had already dealt with the Vehicons who'd been attacking Arcee, and they returned to base where Ratchet revealed he'd taken the synthetic energon he'd been working on. Ratchet, amped up on the substance, insisted on going on their next mission, which meant Bumblebee got left at base operating the GroundBridge. The other Autobots returned minus Ratchet, who had gone to tackle Megatron on his own. Once they'd gotten a fix on Ratchet's signal, they left Bumblebee at base again. Stronger, Faster

I didn't mean to break it

Bumblebee was taking Raf to play with Raf's remote-control car when he was called on to join the battle at a military base. Unfortunately Megatron found them before he could drop Raf off, and Bumblebee was hit by a blast from Megatron's cannon. Though Bumblebee himself was mostly unaffected, Raf was gravely injured. Bumblebee arrived at the battle and had to be restrained from attacking Megatron so he and Arcee could take Raf back to base. Bumblebee watched helplessly as Ratchet and June Darby tried to save the boy. At one point, the frustration became too much, and he knocked a chunk out of the wall with his fist, but Arcee talked him down, and eventually Ratchet worked out that an energon infusion would save Raf. Bumblebee gave some of his own energon for the procedure, which was ultimately successful. One Shall Fall

After the other Autobots saved Optimus from Megatron, Bumblebee bridged them back to base. June decided to take Raf to the hospital, and didn't intend to bring him back, so Bumblebee had to sadly watch them drive from the base. When it transpired that the Dark Energon volcano was causing global disasters, he went to find June and Raf, and managed to save them from a tornado by grabbing the front end of their car. After he returned to base with them, the assembled Autobots and humans worked out that Unicron was at the center of the Earth. He and the other Autobots began investigating the sites of the earthquakes Unicron had generated. One Shall Rise, Part 1

Though Optimus ordered the other Autobots to remain at base, Bumblebee, Arcee and Bulkhead joined him anyway. They fought increasingly larger stone Unicrons, until to their surprise, help came in the form of Megatron. When Optimus gave the other three Autobots the choice of whether to accompany him and Megatron to Earth's core, Bumblebee opted to go for Raf's sake. He, Arcee and Bulkhead greeted Megatron to the Autobot base by aiming their guns at him. Before long, they stepped through the GroundBridge once again, directly into Unicron himself. One Shall Rise, Part 2

As they made their way through Unicron's internals, they encountered anti-bots which aggressively attacked them. When during the fight Bulkhead almost fell to his doom, Bumblebee grabbed his arm and held him long enough for Optimus to help. He, Bulkhead and Arcee remained outside Unicron's spark chamber to hold off the anti bots, but after Unicron's defeat, they entered to find Optimus had lost his memory. The trio had to GroundBridge back to base without their leader. One Shall Rise, Part 3

The Autobots puzzled over how to get their leader back but made little progress. When Fowler warned them of an attack on a military base, Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Arcee went to try and deal with it, but Knock Out and Breakdown succeeded in getting away with the power source they needed. Orion Pax, Part 1 Bumblebee and the others fruitlessly searched for the space bridge until a breakthrough came in the form of information from Starscream. Using said information, the Autobots stormed the mine containing the space bridge and secured it so they could send Jack and Arcee through to Cybertron. Orion Pax, Part 2 Ratchet, Bulkhead and Bumblebee monitored Jack's progress from the Earth end of the space bridge. When Megatron arrived to take back control, Bumblebee was grabbed by the head and tossed aside. Luckily it all turned out, and Bumblebee and the others returned to base with Optimus Prime restored. During a mission to retrieve a Cybertronian artifact, Bumblebee followed Megatron into the Decepticon GroundBridge and snatched the Spark Extractor right out of his hand. Responding to another signal, Bumblebee was ambushed by MECH, who took his T-cog. Unable to transform, he became more and more testy despite the attempts of Raf to cheer him up. Bumblebee finally talked Bulkhead into taking him along on a mission to find another artifact, only for his lack of a T-cog to become a liability as he tried to chase Knock Out. The pursuit ended when Bumblebee plunged out-of-control off a cliff. Operation Bumblebee, Part 1

My precious...

When he came around back at base, Optimus restricted him to base. After an attempt to transplant Ratchet's T-cog into him was aborted, Bumblebee was pointed in the direction of the MECH base and opted to go on a one-bot assault. Though he floored Starscream and MECH in the process of getting the cog back, the vital component was blasted by Starscream. After some repair work by Ratchet, the T-cog was reinstalled in Bumblebee, and his ability to transform restored. Operation Bumblebee, Part 2

Bumblebee and the others came to Wheeljack's aid when he returned to Earth to battle Dreadwing. Loose Cannons Bumblebee was part of an Optimus-led mission to an abandoned energon mine in South America, where they found Megatron fighting an Insecticon. When the fight was finished, the Autobots surrounded the exhausted Megatron, but were prevented from finishing him off by the arrival of Dreadwing. Though they trashed a bunch of Vehicons, Megatron and Dreadwing escaped them. Crossfire

When Fowler was attacked by a truck resembling Optimus, Bumblebee caught his car as it plunged from a bridge. Returning to base, they established the truck was a MECH-created clone of Optimus, and began searching for the MECH base. Bumblebee found the hideout, but after alerting the other Autobots, was knocked out by Nemesis Prime. Following Optimus's defeat of MECH, the Autobots returned to base for repairs. Nemesis Prime Bumblebee went with Optimus and Arcee to investigate some Decepticon activity and found Airachnid sending out a swarm of Insecticons. He and Optimus ended up having to fight a bunch of them and won. They got to return to base with Airachnid, whom Arcee had stasis-locked. Armada

After the Nemesis crashed, Bumblebee took part in an attack on it with the Spark Extractor, only to be put into stasis by its weapons. He recovered back at base once the kids disabled the ship. Flying Mind Bumblebee was sent to New York City with Arcee, Jack and Miko to look for one of the Iacon relics. Tunnel Vision Toxicity In the subway, they ran into Knock Out and an Insecticon, the latter of which temporarily floored Bumblebee. He recovered in time to pursue Knock Out, catching up with the Decepticon and getting the relic back. The relic turned out to be a phase shifter, which saved Bumblebee from being hit by an out-of-control sweeper train. After they chased Knock Out off, Bumblebee and Arcee were introduced to Vogel. Tunnel Vision

They returned to base to find Bulkhead critically injured after his mission, and Bumblebee and Arcee helped get the Wrecker to the medical bay. Hurt During Bulkhead's recovery period, Bumblebee arrived back at base to find Miko was upset at her friend's lack of progress. Out of the Past Bumblebee was part of Optimus's team investigating a crashed escape pod when they encountered Smokescreen. When Raf discovered the presence of Red Energon on Earth, Optimus, Arcee and Bumblebee headed to a dock to retrieve it, only to run into Starscream and the Apex Armor. Bumblebee and Arcee attempted to scale the crane but were attacked by Starscream, and Smokescreen had to come to their rescue using the phase shifter. New Recruit

When Fowler notified them that a Project Damocles satellite had been stolen by Breakdown and Silas, Optimus took a team including Bumblebee to a military base in the hope of securing the satellite control codes before the Decepticons could get them. Instead they found themselves facing both Decepticon troopers and the orbital death ray itself, controlled by Soundwave. The Human Factor During an energon hunt, Bumblebee tried to stop Smokescreen harassing a human, resulting in them both getting their picture on the net. Bumblebee later accompanied Optimus on a search for another Iacon relic, which turned out to be a Decepticon hoax, and helped secure the Star Saber. Legacy

Well, it's not a couch, but... it'll have to do.

After Optimus received a message from Alpha Trion revealing the existence of the Omega Keys, Bumblebee, Arcee and Bulkhead were happy that they might soon be able to restore Cybertron, but quickly realized there would be a downside in that they would have to leave their friends on Earth behind. Alpha/Omega Bumblebee was sent with Arcee to retrieve one of the keys, but they encountered Knock Out. Bumblebee was significantly damaged by the Resonance Blaster before the Decepticon got away with the key, and had to undergo repairs when the two Autobots returned to base. Hard Knocks After Smokescreen escaped the Nemesis with two of the Omega Keys, the Autobots received a message from Starscream offering a trade for the fourth and final key. Bumblebee guarded the base with Smokescreen and Arcee, but using Red Energon, Starscream was able to infiltrate the base and steal their three keys anyway. Inside Job

As the Autobots equipped themselves to go to Cybertron in a last-ditch attempt to stop the Decepticons from using the Omega Lock, Bumblebee took the polarity gauntlet from storage. During their battle with the Decepticons, he used it to reclaim the Omega Keys. The Autobots subsequently found the Omega Lock, only for the Decepticons to unveil their trump card in the form of the three kids as hostages. Regeneration Bumblebee was forced to hand over his Omega Key in exchange for Raf. After Optimus destroyed the Omega Lock to prevent Megatron destroying Earth, Bumblebee returned with the others to base, only to find that the Decepticons were attacking it. The Autobots were forced to abandon base, and Bumblebee and Raf bridged to a point somewhere in the US. Darkest Hour

Fired?

After changing his paint scheme to foil the searching Vehicons, Bumblebee headed back towards Jasper with Raf. Darkmount, NV When Raf discovered a photo of Ratchet on a conspiracy website, the pair tracked him down in a junkyard and tried to convince him to help them use the Harbinger's systems. Apparently failing, Bumblebee and Raf went to the derelict ship themselves, and were joined shortly afterwards by Ratchet, who had had a change of heart. Scattered They managed to get some of the ship's systems working before Bumblebee spotted a starship incoming, which turned out to be Ultra Magnus with most of the rest of Team Prime. Prey Bumblebee and Arcee joined the attack on Darkmount, acting as a "stealth team" and infiltrating the citadel under cover of a diversion. Unfortunately they ran into heavy resistance and were taken captive, but when Optimus Prime arrived to join the assault, they renewed their attack on the Decepticons. Following the destruction of Darkmount, the Autobots assembled at a human military base. Rebellion

When it turned out the Decepticons were aiming to clone more Predacons, Optimus took Bumblebee and Smokescreen with him to Texas to investigate Decepticon activity. Despite the trio's best efforts, they were unable to prevent Shockwave and Soundwave obtaining more Predacon CNA. Project Predacon

Bumblebee and the others took time out from hunting for Predacon fossils to secure some energon supplies, unaware it was part of a Decepticon plan to deceive the newly-intelligent Predaking. Evolution He became upset when Smokescreen suggested that his broken voicebox was his "signature", as he would prefer to have his own voice back. He and the other Autobots attempted to stop the Decepticons from executing a series of raid on human technology, and were caught in a fire fight at the Solaris particle collider in Antarctica. Minus One Though they fought their way through the Decepticons, they were ultimately unable to stop the Decepticons stealing the needed technology, and on top of this, when they returned to base it was to find Ratchet had been abducted by Soundwave. Persuasion They launched the probe and monitored it and Optimus's progress from the base. Though the probe was destroyed, Ratchet was able to send them the coordinates to the Decepticon warship, and Bumblebee and the others geared up in preparation to assault the Nemesis. Synthesis

Bumblebee joined Arcee and Smokescreen in heading for the Omega Lock control room, though Smokescreen left them for a mission of his own. Despite encountering heavy resistance from Starscream, Arcee and Bumblebee made it to the control room, and when Smokescreen arrived with the Star Saber, Bumblebee attempted to pass the weapon to Optimus. As he jumped, he was hit by three blasts from Megatron's fusion cannon and died, however, he fell into the Omega Lock's energy field which restored him, including his damaged voice box.

Bumblebee took the opportunity to impale Megatron with the Star Saber, killing the Decepticon leader. With the Nemesis secured, the Autobots were able to take the ship to Cybertron, where they used the Omega Lock to restore their home world. Bumblebee gave Raf a sad farewell before he and the other Autobots returned home. Deadlock

In the aftermath of Cybertron's rebirth, Bumblebee was promoted to warrior, shortly before Optimus went off to find the AllSpark. With the discovery that there were two new Predacons on the loose, Bumblebee led a team of Autobots to find Predaking, but was unsuccessful in persuading him to help them. After encountering Unicron, in possession of Megatron's rebuilt form, the Autobots realized that the dark god intended to destroy their world. After foiling an attempt by Starscream to retake the warship, the Autobots attempted to defend the Well of All Sparks from Unicron's onslaught. It was only when Optimus returned that Unicron was defeated, and Bumblebee was later present when Optimus sacrificed himself to restore the AllSpark to Cybertron. Predacons Rising

My name is Bumblebee, and I approve this crossover.

Bumblebee tracked a meteor to Wayward Island, and ran into the Rescue Bots and their attendant humans during his search. After joining up with them to find the meteorite, he returned with them to Griffin Rock and reported back to Optimus Prime, who ordered him to spend some time with the team. When three of the Rescue Bots were stricken with a strange virus, Bumblebee helped out in a rescue, following which he accompanied the humans back to Wayward Island to deal with the meteorite. He ended up stuck in an undersea trench after rescuing Graham Burns, and was himself rescued by Blades. Faced with an out-of-control bomb, the two Bots used it to destroy the meteorite, but were infected by the virus themselves. Luckily Bumblebee had picked up a sample of the meteorite which was used to find a cure to the virus, and after some photos, Bumblebee returned home. Bumblebee to the Rescue

When the Rescue Bots were sent back in time to 1939, Bumblebee and Optimus went to Griffin Rock to embark on a journey back in time to help. They arrived in time to rescue the four Bots from Doctor Morocco and returned with them to the time machine. Back in the present, however, they found themselves in a Griffin Rock overrun with MorBots. It's a Bot Time Optimus and Bumblebee were kept busy trashing MorBots while the Rescue Bots worked out what was going on. By the time the pair ran out of MorBots, the team was ready to return to 1939, where they rescued Dither from Morocco, restoring the timeline to normal, before traveling back to the present. Bot to the Future

Optimus and Bumblebee visited Griffin Rock as part of a relic hunt. Bumblebee found himself teamed up with Dani Burns after her pilot license expired, resulting in a blossoming jealousy on Blades's part, however once Bumblebee saved Dani from some quicksand, Blades was happy he'd been there. Odd Bot Out

Several years later, Bumblebee had his voice back, along with a new team and mission. While on a solo mission in Drift's ship, Bumblebee hit a meteor and had to crashland at the new Rescue Bot Training Center on the mainland. As the Rescue Bots took him on a tour of the center, it turned out that the meteor he'd hit had contained an energon eater. Bumblebee ended up teaming up with Blades and Cody Burns to capture the creature as it tried to hunt them through the center. Before leaving with the energon eater in a stasis pod, he invited Blades to join his team on a mission. Uninvited Guest

Oh, joy. Cyber-puberty.

During the war, Bumblebee took part in an operation which resulted in the capture of the Decepticon spy Overload, but was badly injured. Overloaded, Part 1

When Bumblebee first arrived on Earth, he frequently felt homesick for Cybertron. He managed to overcome his grief by learning about and adopting various Earth customs. Collect 'Em All He maintained a video diary for a time, History Lessons, and, as he learned more about Earth, he developed an interest in Earth cowboys, W.W.O.D.?, exercise videos, History Lessons, and the band Rear Axle. Bumblebee's Night Off

After Cybertron was repopulated with Autobots, Bumblebee was effectively given the role of a beat cop due to being blacklisted by the High Council for being a supporter of Optimus Prime, Enemy of My Enemy though he was still renowned as a war hero for his part in Cybertron's restoration. Pilot (Part 1) While patrolling Kaon City, Can You Dig It? with his parter, Cadet Strongarm, Bumblebee was responding to a criminal act on the part of Sideswipe when he experienced a vision of Optimus telling him to go to Earth. With the unwelcome company of Strongarm and Sideswipe, Bumblebee made illegal use of a space bridge in the Cybertron History Museum to reach Earth, where they discovered Fixit and the remains of the prison ship Alchemor, which had crashed and scattered its Decepticon prisoners. Pilot (Part 1) Pursuing the Decepticon Underbite, Bumblebee found his team joined by Grimlock and the humans Denny and Russell Clay. They managed to prevent Underbite reaching nearby Crown City and lured him to a quarry, where Optimus Prime unexpectedly manifested to aid them in capturing the Decepticon. Pilot (Part 2)

When the Autobots received a distress call from the oil tanker Windward, Bumblebee took Grimlock with him to investigate. The pair tussled with Hammerstrike and though their first encounter didn't go well, they subsequently tracked him to a nearby oil refinery and managed to catch him in a barrel. Trust Exercises

AUTOBOTS, ROOOOOOOOOLL!

After the successful capture of Bisk, Bumblebee and his team went in search of a Decepticon at an airfield. They were unprepared for Chop Shop's ability to split into component bugs and during their next encounter, the Decepticon claimed Fixit as a replacement arm. The team eventually tracked him to his hideout where Bumblebee managed to get Fixit to fight back against the Decepticon, resulting in (most of) Chop Shop being captured. More than Meets the Eye As Bumblebee had more and more trouble commanding his team, he attempted to emulate Optimus Prime, with little success. He and his team visited the Crown City Museum of Natural History and Sciences, where they tangled with Terrashock. A vision from Optimus inspired Bumblebee to lead in his own way, and the team managed to track down and capture the Decepticon, cowboy style. W.W.O.D.?

Bumblebee's attempts to deal with Thunderhoof, a Decepticon who was attempting to build a space bridge, was complicated by Sideswipe's laziness. The pair managed to overcome Thunderhoof and destroy his space bridge before it could threaten Earth by creating a black hole. As the Kospego Commands! Bumblebee and his team later encountered Filch, who complicated matters by being flight capable. When Strongarm felt particularly out of place on Earth, Bumblebee told her about his first time on the planet, hoping to cheer her up. Collect 'Em All

After Grimlock turned on the other Autobots and stole Underbite's stasis pod, Bumblebee, Sideswipe and Strongarm tracked him to the Crown River Dam, where they discovered he had been under the control of the Decepticon Minitron. True Colors Bumblebee let Strongarm go on a solo mission, but then followed her anyway much to her dismay. He insisted on accompanying her as "an observer", and ended up helping her capture Springload. Rumble in the Jungle A visit from Jazz was interrupted by Bumblebee and his team having to pursue the Decepticon Ped. Ped's digging almost caused part of Crown City to collapse, forcing Bumblebee and Strongarm to prop it up. They later successfully captured Ped. Can You Dig It?

A run-in with Quillfire's toxic spines caused Bumblebee to regress in maturity, and he began playing elaborate pranks on his teammates. Drawn to a nearby carnival, Bee enjoyed the rides and inadvertently helped capture Quillfire in the process. Fortunately for all concerned, Quillfire's toxin eventually wore off and Bee returned to normal, although he had no memory of his escapades. Adventures in Bumblebee-Sitting!

When Drift and Fracture arrived on Earth to collect the bounty on Bumblebee, Bee saved Drift's life and found the Autobot now owed him a life debt. That mostly meant Drift followed him around constantly, however when Fracture captured the other Autobots, Bee reminded Drift that honor also meant helping friends. After Fracture's defeat, Drift considered the debt repaid. Hunting Season Bumblebee attempted to find his calm place as his team continued bickering during the pursuit of Malodor's Skunkticon gang, and was eventually able to use a mantra to clear his mind enough to find a solution to the problem and capture the four Decepticons. Out of Focus

Sideways Bumblebee carwash.jpg

Feeling anxious at the lack of Decepticon activity, Bumblebee got the action he craved when their attempt to capture Clampdown led the Autobots to tangle with Steeljaw's gang. Though the gang ultimately got away, Bumblebee found a carwash to be relaxing. Sideways One night, Bumblebee, Denny, and Fixit headed out in search of more energon. On returning to the scrapyard, they discovered multiple Decepticon signals in a nearby cave system; believing it to be Steeljaw's gang Bumblebee and his team headed there. The signal turned out to belong to Nightstrike and his hostage Chop Shop. Nightstrike captured the Autobots and immobilized them with his fear-inducing scream- Bumblebee experienced a nightmare about disappointing Optimus Prime. Bumblebee was able to escape with the unexpected help of Chop Shop and managed to capture Nightstrike after deactivating his audio receptors. Even Robots Have Nightmares

Bumblebee and the other Autobots headed to Crown City's subway system after Sideswipe scouted it out. On arriving, they discovered that the mad scientist Vertebreak had hijacked Sideswipe's body. Thanks to Sideswipe's guidance, Bumblebee and the team managed to knock Vertebreak unconscious, and captured him after outrunning an oncoming train. Some Body, Any Body After Jetstorm returned to Earth and claimed Russell as his new sensei, Bumblebee was left in an awkward predicament as he tried to negotiate with Drift and Slipstream. The escape of Quillfire and Springload complicated things further. Bumblebee and his team chased the duo, who had stolen a human tank, across a local highway and eventually managed to bring them in. One of Our Mini-Cons Is Missing

Bumblebee oversaw a training exercise for his teammates. Later, the team went underwater in pursuit of Octopunch, who was planning to steal an abandoned Cybertronian spaceship. After fighting off the ship's various security measures, Bumblebee and Grimlock went up against Octopunch himself, and managed to best him by knotting his tentacles together. Deep Trouble Bumblebee and the team, minus Grimlock, went after Groundpounder and his cheating manager Headlock, who were posing as remote-controlled robots in the Rumbledome's demolition derby. Unfortunately, the GroundBridge malfunctioned, first stranding the team in the Arctic and then depositing them outside the city limits. Bumblebee and the others were held up by traffic while Grimlock and Fixit fought the two Decepticons. The Champ

In hindsight, Bumblebee shouldn't have bought Fixit those Flintstones DVDs.

Fixit's glitches began worsening, and Bumblebee had no choice but to order repairs on the damaged Mini-Con. Denny's attempts to repair Fixit only reactivated his sentry protocol. Bumblebee was forced to deal with the scrapyard's various security measures and the escaped Chop Shop, but with Denny's assistance he managed to force Fixit to stand down after the Mini-con incapacitated Chop Shop. The Trouble with Fixit Bumblebee and the Autobots helped Denny set up a rollercoaster he had purchased on the scrapyard. The job was cut short after they detected Kickback, who had been captured by Steeljaw to serve as bait for the Autobots. After returning to the scrapyard, Bumblebee discovered that Steeljaw and his crew had taken over the scrapyard and set up a subsonic pulse to prevent them from entering. While Denny and Russell distracted the Decepticons, Bumblebee and Drift built a catapult and launched Slipstream and Jetstorm into the scrapyard. Bumblebee tangled with Steeljaw again and managed to see him off. Lockout

Bumblebee welcomed Grimlock back from a routine patrol, only for Grimlock to break down and confess that he had let the Decepticon Scowl walk away free. After searching up Scowl's extensive criminal record, the Autobots tried to track him down. Instead, Scowl flattened them with a tree and headed out to wreck a train station. Bumblebee tried to talk Scowl down, but the Dinobot would have none of it and began smashing the tracks. Bumblebee's attempts to shore up the destroyed structure were unsuccessful, and eventually the Autobots were forced to grab the train and redirect its path. After Grimlock prevented Scowl from attacking a local spa, Bumblebee consoled Grimlock, who had hoped he could change Scowl's ways. Similarly Different

Bumblebee listened to Strongarm's presentation about the dangers of horses, although he was skeptical of its significance. The newly arrived Windblade won over most of his team, and even impressed Bumblebee by coming up with a catchy motto. Along with Windblade, Bumblebee and his team worked together to re-capture Zizza and safely redirect human aircraft away from Zizza's brainwashed human pilots. The Buzz on Windblade When his team felt homesick for Cybertron, Bumblebee tried to cheer them up by reminding them of Earth's many interesting locations, and offered to take the team on a vacation. Since an erupting volcano proved unpopular, the team visited the abandoned town of Edmondville. After scaring off a busload of human tourists, Bumblebee and his team ran afoul of Pseudo, who first tried to off Bumblebee and Grimlock with a cart of dynamite. Bumblebee and his team chased Pseudo into the town's old mines, and temporarily cornered him. Pseudo managed to escape again, but Bumblebee and the team chased him down. Ghosts and Impostors

Battlegrounds2 Bumblebee in armor.jpg

When Strongarm and Sideswipe were taken hostage by the Decepticons, Bumblebee realized that they'd have to mount a rescue mission. This was made easier by the reappearance of Windblade, and together the group prepared to raid the Decepticon's steel mill base. After Windblade was also taken out of the fight, Bumblebee, Grimlock and Drift headed to the Crown City Colossus, where Steeljaw's portal was nearing construction. The trio arrived too late, and Megatronus was freed from his dimensional prison. Battlegrounds, Part 1

Bumblebee's team was reinforced by the arrival of a reborn Optimus Prime; while Optimus dueled with Megatronus, Bumblebee and the other Autobots worked to stave off Steeljaw's gang. After Optimus was badly injured and sent flying, Bumblebee tried to help him come round. Fortunately, Bumblebee's Decepticon Hunter gave him, Sideswipe, and Strongarm an additional boost of power. Working with Optimus, the group managed to pin Megatronus beneath the Colossus's severed arm, and a concentrated burst of energy destroyed Megatronus's body. Back at the scrapyard, Bumblebee told his team that they were free to return to Cybertron, although all of them opted to stay. Prime congratulated Bumblebee on his leadership skills, and also agreed to stay on Earth — as Bumblebee's equal, rather than his leader. Battlegrounds, Part 2

After the Primes took back Optimus's extra power, Bumblebee attempted to sideline Optimus without success. Optimus joined the team Bumblebee assigned to hunt Decepticons far from the scrapyard. While the away team was away, Overload arrived at the scrapyard, and despite the best efforts of Bumblebee and the others, they were unable to stop the Decepticon. Overloaded, Part 1 After tracking Overload to a parking lot, Bumblebee assumed a recent battle there had been between Overload and the two missing Cyclone Mini-Cons, and sent the others off while he continued after Overload on his own. As it turned out, Overload and the Mini-Cons were still together, however Bumblebee managed to convince Ransack and Backtrack to turn on the Decepticon and captured all three. Overloaded, Part 2

Bumblebee and his team pursued Saberhorn and discovered the Decepticon didn't appear in the Alchemor database. They proved unable to capture him after Bumblebee was almost melted down thanks to Russell getting taken hostage. Metal Meltdown When Strongarm became demoralized during the pursuit of Crazybolt and Slicedice, Bumblebee failed to encourage her by getting her to help Fixit. He and Grimlock attempted to deal with a fire caused by the two Cons, and managed to get Strongarm out of the scrapyard to join them in saving some humans. Suspended

Bumblebee wants to make his own How to Ride Your Dinobot videos
Bumblebee, Strongarm, and Grimlock captured the Mini-Con Torpor, though the mission was nearly botched when Grimlock stumbled in on the other two Autobots as they strategised, tipping their target off to their whereabouts. After Grimlock gained super-intelligence from a data cylinder, Bumblebee was reluctant to let him join on a hunt for Simacore, only agreeing to it after Grimlock pointed out that the mission had a low chance of success without him. During the attempt to capture the Con, Bumblebee and Strongarm were placed in peril by being restrained against a particle accelerator. However Fixit was able to restore Grimlock's brain to normal, and the Dinobot rescued them through brute force, taking down Simacore in the process. Brainpower When a wounded Steeljaw turned up at the scrapyard, Bumblebee, Strongarm and Grimlock followed the trail of energon he'd left behind to a disused drive in. There, the Autobots saw Scorponok, Crazybolt, and Slicedice arrive, and by eavesdropping on their conversation, Bumblebee discovered that Steeljaw had been feigning to gain access to the scrapyard. Bumblebee sent Strongarm back to the base while he and Grimlock took care of the Decepticons, and Bumblebee managed to distract his opponents long enough with a magic trick he'd learn from Russel for Grimlock to pummel them. However, he returned too late to prevent Steeljaw from freeing a bunch of the prisoners and escaping with them once more. Misdirection
BumblebeesNightOff-starstruckBB.jpg

After weeks of trying to track down the new group of Decepticons, Bumblebee accidentally shot Grimlock during an encounter with Springload. With the entire team mentally taxed, Denny suggested the Autobots take a break, but Bumblebee was unwilling to do so while there were still Decepticon plots to foil. Fixit suggested that Bumblebee could do both; another lead pointed towards soundboards being stolen, the Decepticons' next likely target being a Rear Axel Concert. Bumblebee staked out the show with Russell, which led to him fighting Bisk on stage while the band played. Luckily the audience assumed it was part of the show, and Bisk was apprehended alongside the Mini-Cons Hammer and Anvil. Bumblebee's Night Off Following a near disaster, where Grimlock was spotted by several children at a carnival while trying to apprehend Silverhound, Bumblebee banned Grimlock from being part of their field missions. Subsequently, Bumblebee and Strongarm attempted to capture Quillfire, only to be knocked out by his quills. They awakened dazed and booted in an impound lot, requiring Denny and Russell to bust them out. The Autobots resumed pursuing the Decepticon and his two new Mini-Con partners, Back and Forth. Upon catching up with them, Bumblebee was flabbergasted to see Grimlock out in the field, sporting a construction crane disguise for his dino mode. Having no time to argue with his teammate, Bumblebee and the others once more engaged Quillfire. With Grimlock's help, the Decepticons were captured before they could retrieve the auto parts they were after, and Bumblebee gave his approval of the Dinobot's new disguise, allowing him once more to go out on missions. Bumblebee's attempt to blend into the Siege lineup did not bode well for him.

After the newly repaired GroundBridge malfunctioned, Soundwave returned to Earth and trapped Bumblebee in the shadowzone. Bumblebee was still able to communicate with the rest of his team by radio and tried to dissuade Denny, Russel, and Fixit from taking on Megatron's former right-hand-bot, thinking the Decepticon was out of his team's league. However, a fumbled first attempt at destroying a long-range communicator Soundwave was building inspired Bumblebee to come up with a plan of his own to defeat Soundwave. Using the fact that Soundwave was out of practice in creating portals to their advantage, Bumblebee coordinated his team to create another door to the shadowzone, escaped back to normal space through it, and returned both Soundwave and Laserbeak to their other-dimensional prison. Portals After returning from a mission in an area that interfered with Fixit's communication equipment, Bumblebee learned that Optimus and the away team had been pinned down by Stockade's troops and sent Grimlock to assist them. Graduation Exercises

Though the Autobots were reunited as a single unit once the stealth team returned to the scrapyard, Bumblebee found his orders were being double-guessed by Optimus at every turn. Despite Strongarm's insistence that he should talk it out with the Prime, Bumblebee found no time to do so, as events began to unfold more and more quickly around him. A chance encounter reunited the team with Ratchet, and soon afterwards the Autobots got help in the form of the Mini-Con Toolbox, recent escapee from "Decepticon Island." The Autobots used a ruse to infiltrate the crash of the rest of the Alchemor, separated from Fixit's section upon its arrival on Earth, and since taken over by its prisoners. Though they made good headway at first, Optimus and Bumblebee strained for leadership at a crucial juncture during the infiltration; Optimus wanted to pause and liberate several more Mini-Cons kept as slaves, whereas Bumblebee wanted to press on to disable all of the Decepticons with a stasis bomb. This hiccup stalled the Autobots long enough for the Decepticons to take notice of them, and Bumblebee's team soon found themselves surrounded by Steeljaw and his troops. Decepticon Island (Part 1)

DecepticonIsland2 Bumblebee powerup.jpg

Optimus and Bumblebee began to argue once more, with Bumblebee wanting them to stay their ground and fight while Optimus wanted to allow themselves to be taken prisoners to plan for a counter-strike. The choice was taken out of their hands by Windblade, who flew up and provided the rest of the team with the distraction necessary for them to slip away. The Autobots then split up into smaller groups, with Bumblebee taking Optimus and Toolbox to fix a cryo-gas bomb to the ship's ventilation hub. After sorting out their leadership issues, Optimus agreed to allow Bumblebee to helm the rest of the mission on his own. Before they could set up their bomb however, they were confronted by Steeljaw, who used three Decepticon hunters to greatly empower himself. Bumblebee and Optimus held off against their opponent long enough for the now freed Mini-Cons to come to their assistance and wrestle the Decepticon Hunters from Steeljaw's grip. Bumblebee then took hold of the weapons himself, and used them to melt Steeljaw into the floor, leaving him unable to escape as the cry-bomb detonated. Bumblebee, Optimus, and the Mini-Cons escaped just in time to be outside of the bomb's range, before it froze everyone on the ship.

In the aftermath of the Decepticon threat being dealt with, several Autobots decided to return to their homeworld. Bumblebee was not among them, as he announced it was time to establish a permanent base on Earth. Strongarm, Sideswipe, Drift, Jetstorm, Slipstream, and Grimlock joined him in this endeavor, and the team sped off together. Decepticon Island (Part 2)

TRID S2 E14 HL SC 1.jpg

With the Decepticons no longer a problem, Bumblebee took his team on a tour of Earth, ending up in a visit to the remains of Output Omega One where they stumbled on a bomb. The team split up, and Bumblebee and Sideswipe stumbled on the scavengers Paralon and Buzzstrike, who were trying to find useful artifacts. Though Bee was knocked out cold after being controlled by Buzzstrike, he managed to prevent the bomb from doing any major damage. Unfortunately Sideswipe found his old diary, which included the exercise video he'd made. History Lessons

How you doin'?

After it became clear that an unknown group was looking for, Bumblebee split up the team to search Cybertronian sites and personally went to western Africa. He and the rest of the team were accidentally GroundBridged back to the scrapyard instead of Mount St. Hilary because Denny and Russell couldn't work the controls. Strongarm's Big Score Continuing the search, Bumblebee and Sideswipe ended up in a desert. They later joined Grimlock when the Dinobot encountered Thermidor and Tricerashot, however when Thermidor threatened to bring down a ski lift, Bumblebee's impatience resulted in him being defeated by the scavenger and it was down to Grimlock to retrieve the artifact. Bumblebee later worked on learning patience from Brother Gunter. Pretzel Logic

MiniConMadness Bumblebee tied up.jpg

Bumblebee and his team retrieved a high energy pulse generator from Egypt, only to have to destroy it when it threatened to fry their brains. Following the invasion of the scrapyard by the Weaponizer Mini-Cons, Team Bee's Mini-Con members were mistakenly abducted by Starscream's men, and Starscream then used them to force Bumblebee to surrender himself. Mighty Big Trouble After an aborted attempt to escape and find the Mini-Cons, Bumblebee was tied up on the bridge of Starscream's ship and forced to listen to the Decepticon's rambling. He did manage to distract Starscream when Jetstorm got free. Mini-Con Madness He was eventually freed by Fixit, Jetstorm and Slipstream and joined by Optimus and the rest of Team Bee, fought Starscream's men. They eventually managed to defeat Starscream, despite him successfully merging with the Weaponizer Mini-Cons, by dragging him down into range of Fixit's signal so he could be de-merged. After farewelling Optimus and the Mini-Cons, Bumblebee and his team split up to search more Cybertronian sites. Worthy

Let's see Matt Trakker beat this.

When a Decepticon was detected, Bumblebee was confident that Sideswipe and Strongarm could handle it. Bee and the rest of the team had to join them when it turned out they couldn't. King of the Hill (Part 1) During the battle against Heatseeker, Bumblebee found himself unexpectedly linked to a Mini-Con which gave him a flight mode, and an explosion resulted in the entire team being merged into one robot while unconscious. In the aftermath, Bumblebee realized he'd lost his Decepticon Hunter. King of the Hill (Part 2)

He searched for his weapon in the scrapyard, fruitlessly, though his search was put on hold when the team had to head to one of Windblade's caches in Antarctica to secure Crustacion. Defrosted While trying to secure another cache, the team encountered Rescue Bot Blurr, resulting in Bumblebee having to handle Sideswipe being paranoid about being replaced. As a result, they had to chase down Ragebyte after the Sharkticon prisoner escaped. Blurred

Bee and the rest of his team found themselves coveting the Sphere of Doradus thanks to the energies the artifact was giving off, and had to resist it so they could capture Springload. Sphere of Influence Bumblebee became jealous of the rapport Blurr and Sideswipe had, and his attempts to be cool caused trouble as the team tried to apprehend Dragstrip and Wildbreak. Bee Cool

During another attempt to capture Drag Strip, the team once again inadvertently merged, and in the aftermath found themselves having to cope with two Sideswipes. The Great Divide As the team investigated a series of Decepticon thefts, Bumblebee encouraged Strongarm to cultivate her detective skills, leading them to capturing three Decepticon brothers: Boostwing, Pilfer, and Jacknab. When Drift's old mentor Shadow Raker showed up on Earth, Bumblebee and the team helped Drift recover his Mini-Con students after the Decepticon kidnapped them. Out of the Shadows Another of Fixit's combiner experiments led to the Autobots temporarily switching bodies. Stuck in Grimlock's body, Bumblebee was forced to sit out the subsequent road race mission to defeat the Stunticons. Disordered Personalities Bee and the rest of the team attempted to help Strongarm's friend Nightra after she turned up apparently being pursued by Blastwave, only to discover that Nightra was the criminal and Blastwave was an Autobot bounty hunter. Guilty As Charged

Bumblebee took Fixit with him to an English island where they encountered Flamesnort and had to shut down the Decepticon's seismic-shock warhead before it destroyed Earth. The Golden Knight After an experiment led to Grimlock developing super speed, Bumblebee confined him to base. During an attempt to recapture Simacore, Bee had to contend with Grimlock turning up to help as well. The Fastest Bot Alive! Exiles Fixit works on Bumblebee.jpg

Now unhappy about their progress (or lack thereof) in stopping the Decepticon team, Bumblebee began imposing strict discipline on his team and micro-managing every aspect of their mission as they attempted to stop the Stunticons from stealing a satellite dish. The team combined into Ultra Bee with the apparent help of Fixit's equipment, allowing them to defeat Menasor. Combine and Conquer After a message from Windblade alerting the team to a cache on the Moon, the team was joined by Optimus Prime for a mission to space. 'Bee and his team were able to not only combine into Ultra Bee without the aid of Fixit's equipment, but defeat the Stunticons once and for all, returning to Earth triumphant. Moon Breaker

During an assault on the scrapyard, Bumblebee was forced to go back and rescue Sideswipe after the GroundBridge was destroyed. The team found safe haven in the nearby caves, however Decepticon signals led them to Crown River Dam, where they found Steeljaw's pack trying to endanger human lives by breaching the dam. Exiles With the Autobots unhappy at their new cave, Bumblebee went to find new accommodations only to be captured by Steeljaw's pack. Tortured and interrogated, Bumblebee only gained the upper hand when Strongarm and Sideswipe freed themselves from the cargo container they'd been captured in, and helped him. Breathing Room

The team again tangled with Steeljaw's pack as the latter attempted to steal nuclear fuel waste from a disposal site, Prepare for Departure and again as the pack stole fuel rods from the nuclear plant. Prisoner Principles The arrival of Optimus Prime (again) resulted in the team discovering where their missing Decepticon Hunters had gone—Soundwave was back from the Shadowzone with the intention to bring back Megatron. When the rest of his team were grousing about the "grunt work" they were having to do, Bumblebee took it on for himself, resulting in him towing Grimlock's trailer as the team pursued the escaped Underbite, who was randomly teleporting thanks to a consumed piece of GroundBridge. They eventually managed to corral the tricky Decepticon, and Bumblebee admitted he had underestimated how tough the grunt work was. Something He Ate An attack by Wingcode left Bumblebee, Sideswipe and Strongarm incapacitated and slowly deteriorating until Grimlock and Bulkhead managed to capture the Decepticon so Fixit could create a cure. Sick as a Bot During another chase to capture Steeljaw, Bumblebee and his team found themselves arrested by Dropforge, who it turned out was under the influence of a mind control signal originating from Cybertron. Optimus returned to Earth once more to fill Bumblebee and his team in on events on Cybertron—the Autobot Council has been mind-controlling the planet's population. As Optimus's team would be recognized, the Bee Team headed to their home planet in Prime's ship with Bumblebee assuming a new color scheme as a disguise. Partway there, they discovered that Steeljaw had stowed away and though Bumblebee was reluctant to let him help, Steeljaw assisted their passage through Cybertron's defenses. The group was immediately surrounded by council forces on landing. Enemy of My Enemy They were bailed out by Dropforge, who covered for them while they infiltrated the High Council Tower with Steeljaw's help. Discovering that the council were actually disguised Decepticons led by Cyclonus, 'Bee and his team merged into Ultra Bee to combat the Decepticons' own combined form while Fixit disabled the Decepticon mind control. A protracted battle followed, but the Autobots prevailed, and in the aftermath, Optimus assigned the Bee Team as ambassadors to Earth. The team returned to the planet they now regarded as home, and found themselves again pursuing Steeljaw. Freedom Fighters

When Wedge got word of a visitor coming, he eagerly assumed it was Bumblebee, but to his disappointment, it was Teen Pioneer Wes. Driving a Wedge After introducing himself to the other recruits, Blades accepted their story request and told them of how Bumblebee won a race and stopped a bank robbery at the same time. The Secret of Flight Bumblebee was one of the bots featured on a card in the Heroes of Cybertron trading card series which Wedge owned. Battle of the Bots

Bumblebee was with the Rescue Bots for an offworld mission. Wedge requested Heatwave relay greetings. All Washed Up Wedge was maintaining a Bumblebee shrine in one of the Academy's many rooms. Blades later brought Bee to the Academy as a guest teacher, which had Wedge extremely excited. Bumblebee tasked the recruits with carrying out maintenance before heading into Griffin Rock with Blades to pick up supplies. Blades filled him in on recent events as they shopped, however Wedge had followed them in an attempt to impress Bumblebee. Returning to base, Bumblebee rewarded the recruits with a rescue sim, during which Wedge was hindered by his lack of maintenance and Bumblebee revealed he'd seen Wedge's failed attempts to impress him. Lesson learned, Bumblebee had Wedge conduct the necessary maintenance. Bee Prepared

At the start of year two of the recruits' training, Bumblebee was selected to be Wedge's mentor and surprised the student by showing up at the ceremony. Back to School He and Wedge practiced adventure training, which included zip-lines. In Training Bumblebee took Wedge on a space mission to save some rock creatures from a meteor shower. When it turned out they needed some calculations to be made so they could successfully move the ice chunks the creatures lived on, Bumblebee called in Perceptor for help. The collaboration went so well that Bumblebee organized to have Perceptor join the Academy as a teacher. Need to Know

Bumblebee took part in the rescue of Doc Greene and Frankie when a force field dome trapped the two humans in the lab. Partners Bumblebee teamed up with Wedge for a mountain climbing rescue and invited the recruit to a "rescue-athon" that evening, unaware Wedge had already promised to help Wes with a first responder exam. Wedge later backed out of the rescue-athon in favor of helping Wes, and invited Wes to be Bumblebee's partner in the rescue-athon. First Responder

Noticing that Wedge was using his new car mode a lot, Bumblebee suggested he should pick the appropriate mode for the situation. This later proved valuable advice when the pair saved a train, and Wedge had to carry blocks of ice back to Griffin Rock. Bumblebee was able to repair the train tracks and arrived back in town riding the train in time to see the end of the ice sculpting contest. The Icebot Cometh Bumblebee joined Heatwave and Grimlock in responding to a meteor strike on Iacon City. Dino-mite Duo

Bumblebee was among the observers as the recruits undertook their final test of year two. He later attended the party aboard Citadel Secundus, and was put into stasis lock when an asteroid hit the Titan and created an anti-energon field. Space Party He and the rest of the teaching staff were revived after Secundus was landed safely on Earth, and attended the recruits' graduation ceremony. Crash Of The Titan

Adventure side story

Bumblebee was attempting to prepare to fight Phantomjaw with the assistance of Drift. He was having little luck until one of Drift's sword strikes sent him flying into mud, the dark color of which hid him from the samurai. There was little time to contemplate this, though, as Phantomjaw himself arrived, quickly putting Bee on the defensive. Thinking quickly, Drift told him to scan a nearby black car, and his new "Black Knight" coloration hid him from the Decepticon much as the mud had previous hidden him from Drift. Thus cloaked, Bumblebee made short work of Phantomjaw. Birth! Black Knight Bumblebee

Raf and Bumblebee stopped off at Plug and Play to pick up Raf's copy of Invasionauts II. Later at the base, Bumblebee found that Raf had let a bunch of Vehicons into the base, and was about to shut the GroundBridge down, when Raf stopped him. During his time as a street cop on Cybertron, Bumblebee arrested the crime boss Clipshade. Robots in Disguise #2 Unbeknownst to Bumblebee, Clipshade was really an Autobot double agent under the employ of Ultra Magnus; the entire operation had been staged. Robots in Disguise #3

When Grimlock and Strongarm were tracking a Decepticon whom Fixit identified as Flamefeather, Bumblebee headed out to join them with Denny. They tracked Flamefeather to the Fun-A-Rama amusement park where they managed to capture their quarry before the morning crowds showed up. Fire, When Ready! After their squabbling compromised a training session, Bumblebee send Strongarm and Sideswipe out to investigate a destroyed transformer. In the aftermath of the battle, Bumblebee was shocked to learn that Arcee and Bulkhead had been secretly spying on him and his team. Robots in Disguise #1

Following the capture of Transit, Bumblebee asked Fixit for a report on investigations into Team Prime, only for Ultra Magnus, Arcee and Bulkhead to arrive, wanting to question prisoners over the whereabouts of Clipshade. Bumblebee insisted on his team taking part in the capture, however afterwards Magnus announced they were taking Clipshade back to their ship. Bumblebee subsequently had a vision from Optimus telling him to trust his instincts regarding his old team. Robots in Disguise #2

Fixit's investigation of Clipshade resulted in Bumblebee and his team capturing Overhead, another Cybercomrade Sect member. She supplied them with a distress beacon she claimed would attract the leader of the sect, however when Bumblebee and Grimlock used it, Clipshade turned up. After a brief fight, it turned out Clipshade was an Autobot double-agent who'd been trying to find out the real sect leader, who it turned out was Overhead herself. They soon returned to Strongarm to find that Overhead had escaped, and Ultra Magnus arrived to provide some explanations. Robots in Disguise #3 Bumblebee and Ultra Magnus argued for a while about their priorities and the competence of Bumblebee's team, but Magnus eventually relented and invited Team Bee to join forces with his own team. The group headed to the abandoned Petrosynthesis Chemical Plant to bring in Overhead and stop her plan to build a new space bridge. While Ultra Magnus's team handled Skullcruncher and Razorgrille, Bumblebee grappled with Overhead. Overhead detonated the bridge out of desperation, creating a miniature black hole. Although Bumblebee tried to shut it down, Overhead revealed that only she possessed the means to turn it off; taking the direct route, Bumblebee smashed Overhead into the control panel and shut down the space bridge.

With Overhead and the rest of the Cybercomrade Sect now recaptured, Bumblebee bid farewell to Ultra Magnus and his team, noting that he and the others still had unfinished business on Earth. Magnus congratulated Bumblebee on his leadership skills and noted that he was on the way to becoming an accomplished leader. Robots in Disguise #4

Following the defeat of Megatronus, Bumblebee's brief moments of relaxation were interrupted when Optimus and Windblade took off on a mission from the Primes, and Decepticon signals were detected at Fort Tucker. Bumblebee and his team found themselves battling a pair of Vehicons, only to discover the whole thing had been a distraction while Steeljaw and Steve abducted Fixit and Russell from the scrapyard. Robots in Disguise #5

Returning to base, the team found empty stasis pods and the computer trashed, and were forced to resort to their own wits to work out where Steeljaw was. They successfully located the cave, rescuing Fixit and Russell before engaging Steeljaw's crew. Bumblebee attempted to wrestle a bomb away from Steve, until the three Vehicons realized that Steeljaw was not part of Megatron's command. Bumblebee Versus Scuzzard Detecting Autobot signals at the docks, the Autobots stumbled on a fight between Underbite, Thunderhoof, and Slink's gang. Bumblebee and his team were captured a short time later when Foxtrot and Stilts took over the scrapyard and put the team in stasis pods. The team was eventually freed with Drift's help, and turned the tables on the Decepticons. Drift's Samurai Showdown

Bumblebee began seeing strange visions of Optimus Prime claiming to have become a Decepticon, distracting him during a mission to capture Skinkbomb and resulting in Sideswipe becoming seriously injured. Fixit thought that Bumblebee might have developed brain rust, but Bumblebee was sure that it was a trick intended to distract him. The next time the false Optimus appeared, Bumblebee was able to keep ordering his team and capture Skinkbomb, and the real Optimus later filled him in on events. The Trials of Optimus Prime

The time has come and so have I... I'll laugh last 'cause you came to die.

During the Decepticons siege of Iacon City, Bumblebee volunteered to be a message courier when communications became unreliable. Bumblebee was searching for the one called Optimus when he was caught by a pair of Decepticons, only to be saved by Optimus and Ratchet. Informing Optimus of the death of Zeta Prime, Bumblebee accompanied Optimus and Ratchet to a command center where they were contacted by Jetfire, who was leading the aerial counterattack and wanted Zeta to activate the planetary guns. After informing Jetfire of Prime's death, Bumblebee helped Optimus and Ratchet make their way to the orbital defenses control room, where they activated the guns. Their next stop was the Decagon, where they could reestablish communications and coordinate Iacon's defense. They hit serious Decepticon resistance, including several Decepticon war machines, but ultimately, with help from Jetfire and Ironhide, the three made their way to the Decagon, where they faced the last obstacle: Sky Commander Starscream. Beating the traitorous Seeker, Bumblebee witnessed a desperate communication from Zeta Prime, who was being held in the Kaon Prison Complex. Optimus resolved to rescue Zeta, and Bumblebee accompanied him.

Bumblebee, Optimus, and Sideswipe allowed themselves to be captured raiding supplies outside Kaon, and taken to the prison within the city. Soundwave ordered them taken to recycling. Bumblebee didn't think that sounded bad, until Sideswipe told him to consider what they were recycling. As they made their way through the prison, Bumblebee's horror grew, until he was in a near panic when they placed against the firing wall. Fortunately, Air Raid finally arrived and killed the Heavy Soldiers about to execute them. Air Raid was forced to let himself be captured to let the others escape. Finally finding some weapons, the three made their way to a wall crawler and descended into the prison. Bumblebee asked if this was good or bad, and Optimus replied that it was purely a matter of perspective, while Sideswipe said he was enjoying himself. Soon, they reached a room where Megatron revealed that he had allowed Zeta's message to be broadcast simply to lure Optimus into a trap. After they fought off some Decepticons, Megatron simply teleported them to a prison cell without their weapons. Fortunately, Optimus managed to break the wall with his axe, freeing them. Optimus then explained he could not open the other prisoners' cells, despite Bumblebee's pleas. Heading to retrieve Air Raid, the three Autobots rescued the flier, who took them to the control which would open all the prison's hard locks. Unfortunately, Zeta was trapped under the facility, so the control wouldn't release him. While Air Raid took the freed Autobots back to Iacon, Bumblebee accompanied Optimus and Sideswipe underground to free Zeta, racing through the caverns as the Decepticons blew out the ground. Reaching Zeta Prime's cell, Optimus, Bumblebee, and Sideswipe had to fight through Soundwave's minions to rescue the Autobot leader, but Soundwave stole some of Zeta's life energy and fled, killing the Prime. Taking his body back to Iacon, Bumblebee and Sideswipe bore witness to the High Council declaring that Optimus was now Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots.

During the evacuation of Cybertron, Megatron used Trypticon Station to fire on the Autobots' escape pods. After the Aerialbots destroyed Trypticon's conversion cog and sent him plummeting to the planet's surface, Bumblebee accompanied Optimus Prime and Ironhide to look for the crash site. Once Trypticon was found to still function, Bumblebee assisted in fighting him, overloading his shoulder cannons with energon batteries and destroying his heat vents. After greatly damaging Trypticon, Optimus Prime declared Trypticon had lost and knocked him into an energon lake with his axe. Afterward, Bumblebee was present at the unveiling of the Ark, where he reminded Optimus Prime that Megatron was "still out there". Transformers: War for Cybertron

Small, but noisy.

When a distress call from Zeta Prime was received by the Autobots, they sent Bumblebee to find Optimus so they could repair the communications system. Bumblebee and Optimus were seen battling Decepticons together by an Autobot rookie when he arrived at the Autobot base. When Optimus was later disabled by laser guards, Bumblebee was instrumental in reviving him, and helped him defeat Dirge. After the Autobots retook Iacon, Bumblebee exploded verbally at Ironhide, complaining that they'd already lost the war. Optimus told him that that attitude was just what Megatron wanted.

Prime's transmissions led the Autobots to infiltrate Kaon Prison, a place Bumblebee found terrifying to the point where Ironhide had to try and calm him and Optimus told them both to quiet down. They eventually found Zeta Prime, in time for their leader to expire. After Optimus was made the new Prime, the Autobots tried to enlist the help of Grimlock and Swoop. Bumblebee slyly goaded Grimlock into challenging Optimus to a contest, however instead the Autobots ended up rescuing Swoop who'd been kidnapped by the Decepticons. The Autobots were forced to venture down to Cybertron's core to disable the Dark Energon corruptors, so that Cybertron's core could begin repairing itself, however the planet was left unable to sustain Transformer life.

As the Autobots began to evacuate in arks, Trypticon station began firing on them. Optimus prepared to take a team to the station to attack it from the inside, and Bumblebee was the first to volunteer to go along. They infiltrated the station and destroyed its power core, causing it to plunge from orbit. To the Autobots' surprise, the station transformed into a monster which Bumblebee found terrifying, but he still took part in the battle to destroy it. War for Cybertron - Autobots/Decepticons

In order to find out more about "Trypticon", Bumblebee and Ironhide were ordered to infiltrate a Decepticon datacore and extract the info stored inside it. Looking for a back way in, Ironhide uncovered a transit shaft, but it was too small for him to reconnoiter. Splitting up, Bumblebee took the shaft while Ironhide circled around to find another way in. Inside the datacore, they retrieved the intel on Trypticon, but were unable to escape without being noticed. The ruckus they raised in Kaon caught Megatron's attempt, and he arrived to fell both Autobots before they made it out of the city-state. Megatron subjected Bumblebee to a neural scanner to forcibly extract Autobot secrets from his mind. Bumblebee struggled to resist the scanner, but still unwillingly gave up some intel before Ironhide broke them both free. They eventually made it out of Kaon in one piece, thanks in part to the air support provided by Air Raid.

After the power supply was cut off to Trypticon from the Geosynchronous Energy Bridge, the Autobots began to prep supplies for their evacuation of the planet. On one such supply convoy, Bumblebee ran defensive reconnaissance to protect the convoy from Decepticon attack. Bumblebee blamed himself for allowing the Decepticons to access his mind using the neural scanner, and was extra dedicated to the mission in his effort to redeem himself, even if only in his own eyes. He uncovered an ambush plot on the roadway, and alerted Optimus to the threat. Taking point, he intervened on several other ambush attempts along the way.

After Trypticon Station fell to Cybertron's surface and revealed itself as a gi-normous transforming creature, Bumblebee joined Optimus Prime and Ironhide in racing to the crash site to finish him off. They were separated during the journey, and had to fight through multiple Decepticon vanguards before even reaching Trypticon. Eventually, it was the combined firepower and teamwork of the Autobot forces that brought down the dangerous dinosaur. Transformers: Cybertron Adventures

Oh my God, they killed Kenny! You bastards!

As the Autobots worked towards preparing the Ark for launch, the Decepticons attacked the city. Bumblebee was helping out Ratchet with the wounded when Optimus Prime arrived, and helped with an injured soldier. He was part of the bridge crew when the ship launched, and when they were intercepted by the Nemesis, defended the bridge alongside Optimus. Prime left to tend to the engine room, and Bumblebee was sent to replace a fuse so they could get the defense systems back up and running. He succeeded, allowing the Ark to start returning fire on the Decepticon ship, and began heading for the engine room. By the time he got there, Optimus and Megatron were engaged in a ferocious battle, with Optimus losing. As Megatron fired off a killing shot, Bumblebee threw himself in the way and took the shot to the chest. Enraged, Optimus renewed his assault on Megatron, but a short time later both ships were sucked through the space bridge portal. Fall of Cybertron

He then accompanied Arcee in order to help her stop the Vehicons from reaching an abandoned military base.

I should probably say something...but that might be difficult.

The Autobots detected a massive asteroid of Dark Energon headed toward Earth, and intercepted the Nemesis crew attempting to retrieve the asteroid when bridging to the location. At the climax of the battle, the asteroid began to split apart and exploded. Team Prime fell to Earth and scattered across the country.

Bumblebee was captured by the Decepticons at some point, likely by Knock Out. However, when Raf had detected Bumblebee's life signal on Earth, he had come to rescue his friend. Freed by the human, Bumblebee followed Raf's directions in order to escape. Eventually, Bumblebee encountered Knock Out and Raf was kidnapped by the Decepticons while he was distracted.

Optimus dispatched Bumblebee and Arcee to investigate a part of the asteroid that landed on Earth being checked by a Decepticon signal, though Bumblebee scouted ahead and found that the signal was Dreadwing unearthing one of Thunderwing's missing components. Arcee helped Bumblebee in grounding Dreadwing, though he was the one who did the work in defeating him. Later, Arcee joined Bumblebee in bridging to the Nemesis to save Ratchet and the children, who had been captured by the Decepticons over this period of time. He was met yet again by Knock Out, and through trial & error had defeated him by driving him off the Nemesis.

The team regrouped, though missing Optimus, and Ratchet dispatched Bulkhead, Bumblebee, and Arcee to chase Thunderwing in order to give him time to create a device to corrupt his Dark Energon core. Bumblebee was pretty shaken up by Megatron. Bumblebee later joined the rest of the team in watching the sun set after a day's hard work. Transformers: Prime - The Game

Transformers Prime: Pulsar Defense

When the Decepticons constructed an Energon Drain in an asteroid field, Bumblebee and the Autobots countered it by building a Pulsar Dish from debris. While the dish was under construction, Bumblebee and Raf could help out by causing more power-ups to drift towards the dish. Transformers Prime: Pulsar Defense

Cheddar-flavored.
  • War for Cybertron Bumblebee was designed by James Daly III, and it's that specific character concept art that won Hasbro over on giving High Moon Studios the game.
  • Bumblebee's model is usable in War for Cybertron multiplayer as the Runner-type chassis for Scout-class characters. His parts are also available in Fall of Cybertron, now classified as Recon-type components for the Infiltrator class (although his wheels can also be used by Destroyers).
  • Alex Irvine wrote the short story Bumblebee at Tyger Pax, expanding on how Bumblebee lost his vocoder in Exodus.
  • In the end credits for WFC, Bee drives up, and HALF of the Autobots get out. Weird. Guess his father was a clown car.
  • Bumblebee's license plate in "Speed Metal" is "936 SOH".
  • Bumblebee's body parts are available to use in the Hub website's Vector Sigma Bot Builder online game. Normally, you cannot configure a generic 'bot using all Bumblebee parts, but you can see what one would look like at right through the magic of Photoshop. Unlike most of his peers, who were hue-shifted into different colors, Bumblebee seems to look exactly the same as he always does.
  • Bumblebee is a guest on the DVD/Blu-ray commentary for "Shadowzone". Dave Hartman apparently shares Raf's ability to understand him.
  • According to the Autobits version of "Darkmount, NV", Frank Welker records words for Bumblebee, which are then replaced with the character's normal beeping sounds.
  • Prior to Will Friedle's casting on an interview with IGN, he had originally gone in to audition for a character called "Bluestreak," but was later given the role of Bumblebee when they were ready to supply him with a voice.
  • For Christmas 2013, The Hub aired a special "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" video yule log. This hour-long special consisted of music and cameo appearances by several characters or pieces from Hub properties in addition to the ponies themselves. Among the characters who made cameos were Beast Hunters Bumblebee (who beeped as he drove across the screen), Rescue Bots Blades (who stumbled onto the screen before being pulled back off), Strawberry Shortcake, Lil' Bat (mascot for The Aquabats), a Sorry! game piece, Niblet from "Pound Puppies", the main lead from "SheZow!", and several characters from the "Littlest Pet Shop" cartoon. This special was aired back-to-back for four hours on Christmas morning, possibly as a means of giving the bulk of the network staff a chance to spend Christmas morning with their families.
  • Given his voice actor and design in Rescue Bots Academy, Bee in said show is essentially a transplanted Cyberverse Bee. Despite this, preliminary concept art had Bee's design drawing from his original Rescue Bots character model.
  • Bumblebee's Cybertronian War for Cybertron design was used by artist Alex Milne for More than Meets the Eye character Glitch.[5]

Foreign names

  • Japanese: Bumblebee (バンブルビー Banburubī)
  • Hungarian: Űrdongó (Rescue Bots, Rescue Bots Academy, "Space-Bumblebee")
  • Mandarin: Dàhuángfēng (大黄蜂, "Hornet")
  • Russian: Bumblebee (War for Cybertron, Бамблби Bamblbi), Shershen' (Fall of Cybertron and Rise of the Dark Spark, Шершень, "Hornet")
