You’ll have the star side dish at any gathering, any thanksgiving or holiday dinner as of today! Not everyone can execute restaurant style Brussels Sprouts from home but you will be that star. A key element is using a preheated baking pan and using the right bake temperature inside your oven.

ingredients

  • Brussels sprouts
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Method

  • Step 1

    Place a large baking tray into the oven & preheat the oven to 425F.

  • Step 2

    Rinse your sprouts, remove the brown ends & cut them horizontally into two.

  • Step 3

    Place them in a large bowl and season them generously with good quality extra-virgin olive oil, salt & black pepper.

  • Step 4

    Remove the baking tray from the oven, grease it with extra-virgin olive oil then place the sprouts face down onto the pan.

  • Step 5

    Bake for 15 minutes or until the surface of the sprouts that are face down have the desired restaurant looking charr then flip then and cook until the other side is charred as well.

  • Step 6

    Remove then from the oven, place them back into the large bowl and mix in your desired about of balsamic glaze, cayenne pepper and salt.

  • Step 7

    Move quickly as you want to serve them while they are hot! If they have cooled down while dressing them, place them back in the oven for a few minutes before serving.
