Endrick Felipe is the newest and brightest young star from Brazil, tipped to be the next big thing. Naturally, Real Madrid have their eyes on wherever great players are; especially in Brazil, where a lot of emerging prodigies remain on the Spanish club’s radar.

The wonderkid is only 16 years old, yet he is already being pursued by prominent teams throughout Europe, including PSG, Liverpool, and, of course, Real Madrid. Juni Calafat, Los Blancos’ chief scout, who is known to have spotted Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior, and other South American stars in the past, is apparently personally keeping track of Endrick’s growth and is believed to be quite pleased with his development.

People can’t stop raving about his abilities. In recent months, he has scored some eye-catching goals that have made the rounds on social media and piqued the curiosity of fans around the globe. And as Endrick cannot sign a professional deal with a European team before he is 18, he is anticipated to play for his present club Palmeiras for another two years.

As previously mentioned, Calafat is already interested in his potential, as are Real Madrid’s main rivals FC Barcelona, who are rumoured to have sent their scouts over to see what everyone is talking about. Yes, Endrick is a major draw out there, but what precisely is it about him that has the greatest football teams intrigued? What qualities about him have clubs so taken aback that they are willing to compete with others to sign him for a large transfer fee? What are Endrick’s skills, and what can he contribute to Los Blancos if he ends up joining with them?

Endrick is too good a player for his young age

Endrick is a forward for Palmeiras who excels in his position. Despite being only 16 years old, he seems to be a considerably better player than many others in his age category and has proven that at the youth levels.

Let’s focus on his versatility first. He can play any of the three forward positions – left winger, right winger, and striker. And he can also play in the offensive midfield role. He has an incredible explosiveness up front and is capable of creating results in the blink of an eye at all spots.

His physique is also something that must not be overlooked. The player is not the tallest but has a strong, powerful build. He is very strong in duels. He can readily detect tackles and enjoys a good challenge.

What struck us the most about him when watching him was his resemblance to Zinedine Zidane. Don’t get us wrong, there is no comparison between the two, but viewing his footage, his skills were extremely similar to the French World Cup winner. Endrick’s back of the heel and overhead flicks, ability to keep control of the ball in crowded areas, and clean knack to trap the ball, were all reminiscent of the French icon.

Endrick’s rapid pace and dribbling prowess help him grab attention in the closing third of the game. His rush ahead and drive past many defenders in one go feels like a piece of cake. He handles the ball close with excellent control while also using of his pace when necessary; the mix of control and speed is quite effective when handled in a suitable ratio.

A complete striker capable of creating numbers and displaying his skillset

Coming from the land of Joga Bonito, Endrick carries the full weight of Brazil’s glorious football heritage. When given the opportunity, he does not hesitate to flaunt his prowess to dance around with the ball and trip others up. But does it indicate he’s overly preoccupied with the visual appeal of it? Certainly not.

Consider Endrick’s age in comparison to the complete striker he is, since owning that degree of finishing precision and positional awareness is clearly beyond simple comprehension.

Endrick makes a strong case for outstanding finishing ability with pinpoint precision and terrific force in his shots. In the last year or so, he has scored some of the most difficult goals, including overhead kicks, flicks from tight angles, and long-range screamers.

Endrick is usually in the right place at the right time as a result of his dribbling talents and positional awareness. He is tough to mark and follow, which is where his speed comes in handy. He asks for the passes, makes the appropriate moves, exposes and exploits pockets of space to generate a goalscoring opportunity in a flash, which he, as previously stated, scores with ease.

Another card in the starry stack is his confidence. He is not hesitant to engage in close duels and is frequently seen making tackles that are occasionally awkward and originate from the heat of the moment.

Despite his little stature, his aerial talent is impressive. He is powerful and can jump high enough to balance out the effect of his height. Though his aerial talent does not contribute to the end result, it is another arrow in his quiver.

Endrick is a fantastic talent and could be a great addition for Real Madrid, but there is always room for improvement

There are no severe negatives, yet they are nonetheless noticeable.

The Brazilian is a rising star, but there are a few factors that may hold him back. He is still extremely raw, and while his abilities shine brightly in Brazil, they may be a little scratchy in Europe’s rugged play.

The athlete is frequently seen participating in uninvited tackles, and his young zeal gets him into conflict at times. However, It will progress well over time, and there aren’t many issues currently.

Remember that Vinicius rose through the same path of being a hot prospect in Brazil but struggled to settle at Real Madrid in the early seasons. However, with more time and practice, he eventually adapted to the style and is now the brightest star on the scene. Endrick could very certainly go the same course.

Overall, if Real Madrid is able to get Endrick, it will be a huge coup. The competition for his signing, though, is anticipated to be as fierce as it can be, and the price tag Palmeiras will place on him, given the demand, may be another bone of contention.
