Joe Chinnici

Joe is an experienced financial executive in the high-tech industry. He was the Chief Financial Officer at Gridpoint Systems, a leading provider of energy solutions. From 2008 to 2009, Joe served as EVP/CFO of Comverse Technology, a global provider of software and services for the telecommunications industry.

Prior to Comverse, he served as SVP, Finance, and CFO at Ciena Corporation from 1995 to 2007, having previously served as Controller after joining Ciena in 1994. Joe has broad board-level experience, having served on the board of directors of Sourcefire, Brix Networks, Optium Corporation, Guilford Pharmaceuticals, TR Systems, and OTG Software.

He holds a BS degree in accounting from Villanova University and an MBA from Southern Illinois University.

Karen McHenry

Karen McHenry is a Master’s prepared registered nurse with extensive experience in the home health environment, showcasing expertise in expansion, regulatory, quality, and fiscal skills that enhance the delivery of home health care. In addition, her creative leadership and relationship skills have driven program development and ensured high patient and staff satisfaction levels.

With 40 years of progressive RN experience, Karen was crucial in increasing Pentec Health’s patient census from 300 to over 3,000 while overseeing 170 remote RNs across 45 states as the SVP of Nursing Services. In addition, she has successfully navigated numerous Joint Commission surveys and facilitated the accreditation of ANCC for the orientation program and designation of Pathways to Excellence.

Karen has collaborated with colleagues to meet various regulatory requirements, including DEA, state, federal, and legal regulations. In addition, she has developed programs such as the Impaired Nurse and Debriefing System for healthcare workers and established safe, professional practice through shared governance in both unionized and non-unionized settings.

 

Timothy Zingraf

Tim is a CPA with over 35 years of executive financial management and leadership experience, including 16 years as an audit partner with Grant Thornton. In addition to his 25 years of experience in public accounting, Tim has held senior-level financial management positions at three different growth-oriented publicly-held healthcare companies.

Tim was a lead audit and relationship partner for some of Grant Thornton’s largest and most complex audit engagements in the West region. He also served as managing partner for the firm’s Phoenix office before retiring in July 2021. Industry experience includes serving as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for a $500 million provider of home infusion therapies.

Tim’s board experience includes Grant Thornton’s Professional Excellence Committee, including two years as Chairman of the Audit and Accounting Advisory Committee of the Arizona State Board of Accountancy and Troon County Club (Scottsdale, AZ). Tim graduated from Indiana University with an MBA in finance and a BS in accounting from Miami University (Ohio).

Shane McCormick

Shane McCormick established the Thomas Lane Health Care Group to raise patient care standards by offering patient-centered, integrated home healthcare services. His motivation came from witnessing deteriorating care in a nursing home and inadequate home care. The organization aims to simplify the selection of home healthcare services and provide patients with essential resources for informed decision-making. With extensive experience in business operations and problem-solving, Mr. McCormick is an accomplished strategist with expertise in marketing, customer service, and facility management, adept at working effectively across organizational levels.

Joe Paek

Joe is a corporate attorney with over 20 years of law firm and in-house legal/senior executive experience. Most recently, he held a dual role as the Chief M&A Counsel for VSP Vision, one of the largest managed vision care companies and the leader in health-focused vision care, and the General Counsel of Marchon Eyewear, Inc., a VSP Vision company focusing on premium eyewear manufacturing and distribution. Before these roles, he was an associate at Hale and Dorr and White and Case.

Joe holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from New York University – Polytechnic School of Engineering and a JD from New York University School of Law.
