NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Wirt on May 13, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at 210 Main St., Richburg, New York regarding the adoption of Local Law # 1 of 2024 entitled “A Local Law Providing a Four-Year Term for the Elective Offices of Town Supervisor, Town Clerk and Town Highway Superintendent of the Town of Wirt”. This law would revise the current term for these positions from two years to four years, subject to mandatory referendum. Copies of said proposed Local Law are available for review by request to the Town Clerk, PO Box 243, Richburg NY 14774. Phone: (585) 928-2130.
