Jett Can Now Climb Up the Pyramid on Breeze Without Updraft, and Here’s How

The new patch has just arrived and aside from bringing in new and massive agent changes, the previously removed map, Breeze is also now available. Interestingly, few days after its return, one player stumbled upon a technique that allows a popular agent to climb to the top of the pyramid on one of its sites without using any ability.

Now, every player is left with the same question: Is it a bug or a new permanent feature?

Breeze has just made a return to the active map rotation in Valorant during Episode 7 Act 2. As many of us are aware, this Caribbean-themed map offers a perfect playground for agents like Jett. With its vast layout and wide-open areas, the Korean duelist can easily assert her dominance on this map, especially with the Operator.  With her Tailwind (E), she can swiftly reposition at her whim to get out of unfavorable positions or avoid potential trades.

Aside from this, this agent also has the capability to lift herself up to be able to stand on elevated spots like crates and tall walls with Updraft (W), creating an off-angle that is sure to catch opponents of guard. In some cases, you’ll sometimes find her on top of the pyramid on A site on Breeze, looking for a prey.

However, with a massive nerf on Jett that reduced the number of her Updraft to one, going for this off-angle spot may not always be worth it, especially when it's not guaranteed that your opponents will hit A site.

But thanks to a discovery made by a Valorant player, a new way of reaching the top of the pyramid has surfaced.

How to get on top of the pyramid on A Breeze without updraft using Jett

In the Reddit post, u/Old_Story_885 demonstrated a clever technique on how you can place yourself on top of the pyramid without relying on Updraft. First, stand on any side of the pyramid. It can be on any of the two pyramids, for as long as you’re facing the wall. Next, hold W and jump button while spamming the crouch.

Doing this will allow you to gradually lift yourself up and successfully climb the pyramid.

This trick may not be as game-changing as Cypher's Spycam that can hold a gun, or Yoru's ability to teleport inside the pyramid, as Jett can still reach the top with only one Updraft from either stairs or yellow box. But surely, this tech is a real boon for our devastated Jett mains who can now only benefit from a single boost. This way, Jett can simply reserve this ability to make insane plays especially in tandem with Blade Storm. Plus, it won't cost them credits to pull this off.

It is also worth noting that this can be done during the buy phase, allowing you to get into position before the barrier goes down. While this is easy to execute, climbing the pyramid may eat up around six to nine seconds of your time. You surely wouldn't want to do this while there's enemies around trying to shoot your team.

Unfortunately, only Jett can abuse this trick as she is the only agent that has the ability to glide. Back in 2021, Astra also had the ability to pull herself towards the top of the pyramid and inside chute, with Gravity Well. However, this technique was eventually patched and removed. Whether Jett's trick will meet a similar fate or not, the outcome remains uncertain.
