DAGames (DA standing for "Diamond Armada") is a fairly known YouTube channel hosted primarily by its founder, Will Alex Ryan. The channel consists of various types of content including let's plays, animations, livestreams, and most notably music. Despite doing a variety of works, including original works, Will is most well-known for songs he has made for various popular franchises such as Five Nights at Freddy's and Bendy and the Ink Machine.

Will started off as an animator on Newgrounds, the Comix series and Reality series being his most notable on the site. After the migration to YouTube, he followed along and has stuck around ever since. Musicwise, Will has been making music for over 11 years now. With a fascination for rock and metal, he and a friend of his started a band known as Onyx Colony. After a couple of years the band split apart and Will began to make music under the alias of W.A.R., his initials. Eventually, he began to make music under the DAGames name, starting with It's Time to Die, a Five Nights at Freddy's 3 song. As for the let's plays, he kicked off his Let's Play career with Super Mario 3D World.

There have also been additional members on the channel, known as the DACrew; the most prominent members at present being Will himself, Aficionados Chris, CosmicKeyframe (Chrissy), and Sean Webby. All four have also started a challenge series together called DAKnockout. Chrissy also hosts a weekly livestream known as DARadio which acts as the channel's radio show complete with a trivia segment and an ability to request songs.

Will has also made his own original stories separate from DAGames. Among them are IRIS, a dystopian Science Fantasy story, and Pandorium, an anthology that consists of three stories; Solitudenote , Mercy's Garden, and HumN. Details and related songs/albums can be found on both the main DAGames channel and on Will's solo channel.

A side-channel focused exclusively on animated skits, called BanterMation, run mainly by Will and his friend Dexter Manning was launched on November 21, 2020.

This creator provides examples of:

  • The Bad Guy Wins: In the video for "Ambush", the Impostor is successful in killing off the crew.
  • Badass Boast: Purple does this several times throughout "Ambush", complete with a close-up shot of his Slasher Smile and his hands.
Purple: I've taken many lives... by the holy knife... and yet you won't see it coming, I'm the one who takes the dagger to the eyes!
Purple: For inside us all, we got intact DNA... I hope I'm not on display... because once in the spotlight, my design will be their own demise!
  • Big "WHAT?!": Night 5 of his Sister Location livestream when Circus Baby not-so-subtly makes a shout out to his Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location song, "Left Behind".
  • Color Motif
    • Originally, the channel used green as its primary color. Since 2019, the DAGames channel started introducing more purple into its appearance. It switched to purple fully as its primary color in 2020 before eventually settling on a bright pink, which is has remained since.
    • This is also the basis of the album Flashdrive alongside it's remake, Flashdrive: SSD. Each song is based on a color and how Will sees them symbolically; green for toxicity and sewage, blue for the skies above, and etc.
  • Curse Cut Short: The Hello Neighbor song "Get Out" has one of these, wherein the neighbour calls the main character a 'nosy little f-', with wubs starting before he can finish his curse.
  • Dark Horse Victory: During the first Try Not to Laugh Knockout, Chrissy manages to share her very first victory with Will after Chris and Sean both lose thanks to them.
  • Delinquent Hair: Will's hair used to commonly be dyed black with a green streak. These days, he has since gone back to his natural hair color, which is blonde.
  • Hope Spot: Will gets his hopes up during the Solitaire Knockout as it seems like he's on his way to victory... then he notices that he had somehow put two red cards together in a tableau (an illegal position that invalidated his current run).
  • Late-Arrival Spoiler: The middle part of the music video for "Lost In The Dark" is particularly spoiler heavy for the latter parts of the game, showing Chris getting killed by the Walrider and Miles getting shot down by hired guns.
  • Mundane Made Awesome: "Hail To The Jester Queen & King", a song just as heavy as most of the other songs on the channel, which is kind of weird for a song based off of Solitaire.
  • Must Have Caffeine: Will sure does love his Monster Energy Drinks. He has since been trying to dial back a bit on them recently.
  • Nerdcore: Much of his music (sans IRIS, Flashdrive, and anything on his solo channel) is considered to be this.
  • Pen Name: Will has had many throughout the years with his main one being DAGames.
  • Production Foreshadowing:
    • In both Medleys, Will sneaks in elements from upcoming songs, with the first one having lyrics from the then unreleased "Instruments of Cyanide" and "Brothers in Arms" and the second one having lyrics from the then unreleased "Are You Proud Of Me Now?" and "Return To The Motherland".
    • Xavier Rotom, the central character of the Pandorium story Solitude, was first revealed when the Solitaire DAKnockout and "Hail to the Jester Queen & King" were released; two years before his story even came to full conception.
  • Quote Mine: Invoked in the "DAGames said..." series where clips of his other videos are shown alongside the lines from those clips.
  • Shout-Out: The Hello Neighbor song "Get Out" is one to the movie, given the song came out a couple weeks before the movie. The meaning of the words is the opposite though, the neighbor wants the player to get out and stop snooping in his house, rather than brainwashed slaves coming to their senses and pleading Chris to get out while he still has a chance.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: He does, and how! It's rare he has a Let's Play with no cuss words, or at least a substitute curse word.
    • Exaggerated in F, which can be seen from the very first line and continues throughout the entire song.
Will: This is my open letter to you, go fuck yourself!
  • Streisand Effect: This is actually the name of his Garten of Banban song, which reflects how the word of mouth on the game's quality spread it everywhere.
  • Suddenly Shouting: Constantly. It makes up quite a bit of "Get Out".
As much as it looks like I have stuff left for you
My house is not a place to steal all my clues
I know you're new here, so YOU SHOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU COME NEAR!
I'm smarter than your average neighbor too. I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU DO!
  • Trademark Favorite Drink: Will LOVES Monster Energy Drink. He has us fooled, however; he just fills an empty can with water.
