Karter Knox re-opens his recruitment after John Calipari news

A week ago, the Kentucky Wildcats and coach John Calipari had the number two recruiting class in the country. Forward Karter Knox was the last signee, and they were prepared to reload for the presumed exodus of many of last year’s players.

Fast forward to Monday, and Calipari is headed to Arkansas, and Karter Knox has re-opened his recruitment, and is likely headed elsewhere.

Knox is a top 20 player in the 2024 class, and was set to follow his brother Kevin Knox to Kentucky. Kevin spent on year with Cal in Lexington before going pro.

A 6’6″ wing player, Knox shoots the ball well from all levels, and is a solid rebounder as well. He had offers from multiple schools, but Kentucky and Louisville were both among his final choices.

Knox could choose to stay with Coach Cal and head to Arkansas, or he could wait and see who winds up at Kentucky before deciding.

It’s certain that the Wildcats will see big changes along with the coaching change. Fans should prepare for more of the 2024 recruits to weigh their options.
