USC guard Brynn Cameron was named to the Pacific-10 All-Freshman Team on Thursday, capping a stellar first year as the leading scorer for the Women of Troy.

Junior Meghan Gnekow and freshman Camille LeNoir received conference recognition alongside Cameron, who was also an All-Pac-10 honorable mention selection.

Gnekow made the All-Pac-10 honorable mention team while LeNoir made the Pac-10 All-Freshman honorable mention squad.

Cameron led Pac-10 freshmen (third overall) with both a 42% three-point percentage and 66 three-pointers made and finished third among Pac-10 freshmen in scoring. She is only the ninth Trojan ever to earn All-Freshman honors and is the first for USC since the 2001-02 season.

Gnekow scored 9 points per game and led the Trojans with 5.8 rebounds per game. She led the conference in offensive rebounds per game (3.12) and finished seventh in rebounds per game.

LeNoir led Pac-10 freshmen (eighth overall) with 2.96 assists per game. For the Trojans, she ranked fourth in scoring (8.0) and second in steals (39) and assists (80).

The league's 10 head coaches voted on the conference awards.

The No. 4-seeded Women of Troy open the Pac-10 Tournament on Saturday, March 5, against No. 5 Arizona at 7:15 pm at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.
