  • He notched three double-doubles against UT Rio Grande Valley (24 points/14 rebounds), Nevada (13 points, 11 rebounds) and Northern Arizona (31 points, 12 rebounds), and tallied 17 games in double-digit scoring
FREHSMAN (2014-15)
  • He played his freshman year at Sierra Junior College where he averaged 15.4 points and 7.4 rebounds
HIGH SCHOOL
  • Pineiro attended Placer High School in Auburn, California
  • As a senior he averaged 20.4 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting .532 from the field and .743 at the line
  • He earned All-League and All-Section honors and was a two-time team MVP
  • He also played football where he was All-League, All-State and the team's defensive MVP
  • "Isaiah Pineiro is a hard blue collar guy who loves to compete and work," said head coach Lamont Smith. "Pineiro is a very mature young man who has the ability to be a tremendous leader for our basketball team. We welcome his experience to our young ball club. He's also a high character young man that will be an excellent addition to our university and community."
