What is there to say about the Galah, probably our commonest cockatoo. If it were rare we would take its beauty seriously. These days it can be found just about anywhere, except perhaps rainforest and high mountains. In the Canberra region it is common in the city and in surrounding woodland and agricultural districts. Large flocks can be a pest to agricultural activities. Often found with Sulphur-crested Cockatoos (as here) and little corellas.
