Career Assistance Program
Eligible job seekers may qualify for tuition assistance to help pay for the cost of learning new skills or upgrading existing skills. Training opportunities focus on high-growth career fields including Truck Driving, IT, CNA, and many others (*Note: Long-term training/degreed programs are not available for support at this time).
Another option available is On-The-Job Training (OJT) and vocation training, designed to provide laid-off, unemployed, and underemployed individuals with career training and skill upgrades.

Computer Support Technician
Oakland County Michigan Works!, in partnership with Oakland Community College, offers a no-cost, short-term Computer Support Technician Training Program to eligible students. Register to join an upcoming virtual information session 6/27, 7/11 or 7/18 here: tinyurl.com/2akt43wa.
Attend an in-person information session on OCC’s Pre-Apprenticeship Program, May 1st from 5:30 – 7:00 PM on the Auburn Hills Campus. This is a great way for students to learn more about the program and tour the labs. Register Here.
