Disney gave guests a Christmas surprise this morning, introducing Santa Duffy, who is now greeting guests at It’s a Wonderful Shop in his holiday best. Previously, this meet and greet was only available at Disney Jollywood Nights, the separate upcharge holiday event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Duffy is available from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for a limited time.
He can be found at It’s a Wonderful Shop in the Grand Avenue area, which has been home to a Santa meet and greet.
This differs from his Disney Jollywood Nights appearances, which took place outside the Mickey Shorts Theater.
For today, guests are being asked for their mobile number for a return time to visit Duffy. The sign out in front of It’s A Wonderful Shop reads:

Duffy the Disney Bear and several others were added to Disney Jollywood Nights after a lukewarm response from guests after the first iteration of the event. “Santa Duffy” quickly became a popular meet and greet character, and his appearance is now available for all guests, not solely for the ticketed event.
