QUICK TABS

In earlier versions of Internet Explorer, opening multiple Web pages at once involved opening a separate browser window for each page — which made it cumbersome to switch from one page to another.
To rectify this, Microsoft developed a feature called Quick Tabs view for inclusion in Internet Explorer 7. With Quick Tabs, when you open multiple Web pages at once, each one is displayed in the same browser in its own tab. To switch to a different Web page, you simply click the page’s tab. You close a page by right-clicking its tab and clicking Close, or by clicking the tab’s Close button.
The Quick Tabs feature also supports a special view, called Quick Tab view. In Quick Tab view, all the pages that are open in your browser are displayed at once. To open Quick Tab view, click the Quick Tab button. Alternatively, view a list containing all open Web pages by clicking the Quick Tab button’s down arrow.
