(WHNT) — Former Austin basketball standout Javan Johnson has signed a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors.

The former Black Bear played five years of college basketball, first at Troy, then at Iowa State before playing the last two seasons with the Blue Demons.

Johnson averaged 14.2 points per game this past season; he scored over 1,000 points in his two seasons with the Blue Demons.
