95 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Quite closed, very cool and restrained, this has a very complex nose of crisp pear, fresh herbs with touches of rhubarb and passion fruit. Serious tension between mineral acidity and delicate fruit on the super-clean palate. Long precise and pristine finish. Limited production. Drink or hold. (11/10/22)"

94+ points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "The 2021 Juffer Auslese is super clear and flinty on the beautifully reductive and precisely aromatic nose. Lush yet refined and crystalline on the palate, this is an intense, round and juicy, very elegant and mouth-watering Auslese with delicate lemon bitters on the finish. Excellent. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022. Drink: 2032-2070. (Aug 2022)"

94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Oliver Haag’s 2021 Juffer Auslese was made with about fifty percent botrytized bunches and fifty percent golden berries in this vintage. Its technical details are 7.5 percent alcohol, 10.7 grams of acidity and eighty-three grams of residual sugar. The wine is beautifully refined and elegant on the nose, offering up scents of pear, white cherry, mint, a hint of mossiness, lime zest, honeycomb, orange blossoms and lilacs. On the palate the wine is medium-full, precise and complex, with lovely depth at the core, bright, zesty acids, impeccable focus and balance and a long, vibrant and complex finish. I love the backend lift here. 2023-2085. (Mar/Apr 2023)"
