Aramark chairman stepping down

Joseph Neubauer is stepping down as chairman of the board of directors of Philadelphia-based food services company Aramark.

The 73-year-old will officially leave the role after Aramark’s annual meeting with shareholders on February 3.

Neubauer joined the company in 1979 as Executive Vice President of Finance and Development, CFO, and a member of the board.

He has also been involved with several cultural institutions in Philadelphia, and helped the Barnes Foundation open its location on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

Neubauer is being succeeded by Eric Foss, Aramark’s current president and CEO.
